We got of at the second stop and did not get back on. We were in the back of the bus and the people in front of us were eating lunches they packed (we were told food was not permitted on the bus) and stinking tbe bus up. They were also talking the whole time so we could not hear anything.

Dear Luc, Thank you very much for participating in our extended city tour of Zurich and for sharing your experience with us. We are truly sorry to hear that you and your family left the tour early because of your unpleasant co-travelers. While we cannot expect good manners from everyone, we do believe that is it the tour guide's duty to point out the rules of conduct and to ensure that they are followed for the benefit of all concerned. To avoid similar incidents in the future, we have followed up on your feedback with your tour guide. He would have very much appreciated your feedback on site so that he could have offered you a different solution while still on tour. As this is not possible anymore, we have now reached out to you via e-mail to offer you a small gesture of compensation. We hope that you will give us a second chance to convince you of our high-quality standards and are always happy to help in case of any questions. Best regards, Best of Switzerland Tours

Comprehensive tour of Zurich, covering the city as well as some of the outskirts. The tour guide was fantastic and gave a very good insight of the culture and lifestyle of Zurich - absolute value for money.

The tour guide was so cool, he is so smart and funny he is very approachable and we learned a lot about Zurich the building architecture how old are those even the churches. The most part I live was when we went to the mountain by cable car and the view up there is eeally breath taking. We had a very nice experienced and we're so happy.

Great potential!

We felt rushed in certain parts of the tour, especially with three young children. Barely had time to spend at the top of the cable car and no restroom break considered for the entire 4-hour excursion. Only after the first two restrooms were closed did we ask to please stop...the main operator seemed agitated. Only 10 minutes at the lake and back to the bus... Nikki from the UK was the saving grace for us. She provided lots of history and entertained the kids as much as possible. I would still recommend—just not with kids.

Dear Katrina, Thank you very much for having joined our extended city tour and for sharing your family's experience. It is important to us that also our little guests feel welcome on our tour and we therefore take your feedback very seriously. We regret to hear that the tour felt rushed in certain parts. As the aim of the tour is to give our guests a good overview of Zürich and its surroundings in just over four hours, it might not always allow for the time needed to explore at a child-friendly pace. However, the different stops allow both parents and children to get off the bus and to stretch their legs while exploring. Luckily your tour guide’s wife joined your tour and stayed with you and your children that were sleeping soundly on the bus, while he took the rest of your group on a guided stroll through the old town. Also, your group was quite small, which made it possible for your tour guide to extend the whole tour by nearly an hour and to give everyone more time at the different stops. We fully understand that the toilet situation was very inconvenient, especially for guests travelling with young children. While there are no toilets on the bus, there are public toilets available during the stop at the lakeside, near the car park before the guided old town stroll and later also at the Felsenegg restaurant on top of the cable car. Unfortunately, both the toilets at the lakeside and the car park were out of order and the group had to continue to catch the ferry in time. Well aware of the urgency of the problem (and perhaps a little agitated), your tour guide informed the ferry crew about the toilet emergency, but as they could not make an exception, the next toilet was only available after the ferry arrived in the harbour. In the unlikely event that the first two toilets are closed again at the same time, we will in future add a toilet break before boarding the ferry to ensure a pleasant trip for everybody. We hope that you and your family enjoyed a wonderful stay in Zürich and look forward to welcoming you again on your next trip to Switzerland. With best wishes from Zürich, Best of Switzerland Tours
