A terrific family day out.
, Dec 2019
Our safari jetboat ride was fantastic. Captain Freddy did a great job. The boats are fast and the ride is exciting. Our village visit was very enjoyable. Our guide Cara gave us plenty of useful information about village life. Our lunch and entertainment with the villagers was a great experience. Everyone is very friendly and it was a great day out. 5 stars. Thanks to the Sigatoka jetboat team.
Authentic Village visit

The company looked us very well. They organised parking of our rental car. The trip up the river was safe but exciting. The village visit was one of the more authentic visits we have done as well as the kava ceremony. The locals treated us very well and the lunch provided was a good experience of tasting local Fijian food that was seasonally available. The only drawback was don't sit in the rear seats of the jetboat when it does 360 spins, unless you want to get drenched!!! Which can be a benefit in the hot, humid conditions.

Bula Peter G We appreciate you letting us know that you enjoyed your Safari adventure with us and found that we as a team looked after you very well. In regards to the "drawback" we understand that you might not have wanted to cool down that much, but the great thing in Fiji, you dry very quickly :) Wishing you a great year ahead!! So much fun!

What a fabulous tour! A highlight of our trip to Fiji! All staff were lovely & very knowledgeable! Transfers from the Coral Coast included in tour price & pick up was prompt! Captain Ace & Captain Laps took us down the Sigatoka River to a local village stopping along the way for some commentary. We were welcomed by the village locals with a Karva Ceremony, traditional lunch, tour of the Village & dancing. We didnt realised we could bring a gift to give to the Village children. Not that it is expected. The host explained that guests coming on tours are supporting the Village just by participating. 360s on the way back in the boat had us in fits of laughter! So much fun!

staff was very nice and helpful. We are seniors but they were very accommodative and made up for our inability to climb by assisting us. But, the group leaders explained things to the group behind me I could not hear a thing.I asked him to speak in front of me so I could appreciate the surroundings. He only said he'll tell me later. He never did

I am a single woman travelling with 3 children aged from 7-12.We were picked up from our resort and taken to Sigatoka, where we stopped briefly for coffee or shopping, then back on the bus with our guide, who entertained and informed us as we drove to the river depot, pointing out interesting areas and landmarks such as the huge government protected mahogany trees, explaining about the Chinese road contracts and farms, and stopping to allow us to enjoy spectacular views. Life jackets on and after a photo with Freddy, our captain, into the jetboats. Our trip up the river was exhilarating and exciting, fast, noisy and spectacular. Freddy drove skilfully, stopping several times along the way to explain various things and allow us to ask questions. Freddy's easy going and open manner made for a pleasant trip and we all learned a great deal about village life along the river including the history of the tribes and how they farm today. A climb up a steamy path cut into the jungle led us to the village, where we were greeted by our guide and spokesman. We entered the village community hall and were treated to a traditional welcome and kava ceremony, followed by a walk through the village where we again had an opportunity to chat with our knowledgeable and friendly guide and ask questions. Then we were treated to a wonderful feast laid on by the village women of traditional food, after which we joined the local people in singing and dancing together. They really were very friendly and welcoming and my children enjoyed this immensely. Ceremonial goodbyes were said, gifts given by us and we made our way back to our boats. On the way back Freddy thrilled us all with his 360 spins, soaking us all and eliciting screams of excitement. Photos were taken and were very reasonably priced. Then back on the bus, a stop in Sigatoka allowed us time for a snack, before returning to the resort, tired and happy. We all agreed this was a highlight of our Fiji holiday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Remember to wear shoes for walking, women are given a sarong to wear. Take water and some Fiji cash, sunscreen, a small towel and change of clothes. You can leave these at the depot so you wont have to carry them. You can take or buy gifts for the village children in Sigatoka. This trip is excellent value, staff are very professional and I highly recommend it.

the Jet Boat Safari was certainly the highlight of our Fiji holiday. Our Captain was so knowledgeable and interesting, the ride up the Sigatoka River was amazing. Arriving at the village we were welcomed by their chief, drinking the traditional Cava was an experience by itself most of the men liked the drink but not to the taste buds of us ladies. lunch was traditional Fijian cuisine not sure what most of the dishes were but truly mouth watering. on our way back to base our captain asked everyone if they would like a few 360 spins and yes even being nearly 70 years old I couldn't resist it, well following a complete soaking and a really good belly laugh we finally returned to shore. great photos were on offer from the tour operator and at a very reasonable price. I would not hesitate to recommended this excursion to anybody.
