A very enjoyable evening.

What a night!! The staff worked tirelessly to make it enjoyable and guests were encouraged to participate and meet up which added to the fun. The boat needs a little refurb perhaps but the whole trip was excellent and well worth the cost. The buffet food was very good, particularly lobster tails. We were lucky to get a lovely sunset to crown a great trip. Thanks to all the staff.

Not your Sydney cruise ship

Expected the same ship as the one in Sydney. All tables were located within the centre of the level away from windows. Also, not a la carte as stated but a buffet. Plus there is no shuttle bus service provided from the Hideaway Resort & Spa. We had to have a private transfer at an extra cost of AUD$82.20 return. This tour cost us in total AUD$214.20 each in Australian dollars. The 3 hour cruise wasn’t long enough. The staff seem to rush after our meal. The entertainment was mediocre. The staff joined in with the male dancers not in costume. Not worth the money I paid for me and my daughter. I would give it a 4 star for food though. But 1 star for value for money.

An entertaining evening

We enjoyed the warmth and great enthusiasm on the part of the welcoming party on board. The master of ceremonies Mark was simply outstanding. He had a good voice and grace on the floor and was knowledgeable about the history and culture of Fiji. He also had a good sense of humour. The barbecue buffet was delectable.

We booked this Sunset Dinner Cruise...

We booked this Sunset Dinner Cruise for our Anniversary and it was terrible, we expected it to be better than sitting on plastic chairs and eating cold food, when I booked it I was told that the drinks were included in the price, but when we were on board they told me that was for day cruises, and I didn't take any cash with me as I thought that it was all included, not a good 45th Anniversary, my wife was so disappointed that we couldn't wait to get off the boat. The only good part of the night was the local entertainment.

To the credit of the tour operator...

To the credit of the tour operator, there weren't that many people on board I think we had fewer than 20, and a normal cruise is 50 or more and they did not cancel. We enjoyed the singing, and the captain was quite a character! Dinner was very ample. Only word of warning is that you really won't see that much from the ship, since it gets dark pretty quickly and the ship stays in the harbor we were told by one of the staff members that the license for the ship for the sunset cruise restricts the boat to the harbor area. With that in mind, it was a fun way to spend a few hours. All of the crew members with whom we interacted were very nice.

I really enjoyed this sunset...

I really enjoyed this sunset cruise. The food was very nice and the crew were brilliant. Mark was exeptionally good, giving a short talk on the islands and the people who live there. There was also a cultural show with passenger involvement. Highly recommended
