In the morning, make your way to Edible Canada on Vancouver’s lovely Granville Island. There you’ll meet your savvy guide and small group of fellow food enthusiasts. You’ll get acquainted with some of the market highlights before setting off on a 2-hour walking tour. Be prepared for 10 to 15 minutes of walking and an emphasis on sampling!

At the market, stroll with your guide through stalls bursting with colorful produce and artisanal goods. Pass local fishmongers, bakers, cheese makers, specialty butchers and more. Lisa did a great job of introducing us to Granville Island's wonderful food while making it fun. We tasted lots of yummy food but did not feel overwhelmed by the volume. I highly recommend this tour.

We enjoyed the tour very much. The tastings were of a good variety and quality of foods, from fish and chips to doughnuts. The guide, Tracy, was very good at her job. She was pleasant, connected with the individuals of the group, and was knowlegeable. We had a pleasant walk around the market, and got to meet some of the store owners. The tour took about two hours, which were well spent. A good opportunity to see a market which is as good as Borough Market in London (which is high praise).

This was a fabulous foodie tour. Michael, our guide from Vancouver Foodie Tours was absolutely outstanding. His warm and gracious demeanor coupled with his “foodie” expertise made this tasting tour very special. Granville Island is a truly interesting enclave just over the bridge from downtown. We did 9 different “tastings”....all amazing and all local/British Columbia “farm to table” products. I highly recommend this experience if you find yourself in Vancouver.

Great way to see the market and get to taste different food items. It was nice to be able to go to the different vendors (8-9) and have a taste test. The vendors were always prepared for us and our guide (i am bad on names but she was very personable) did a nice job in giving us some history of the market and some of the vendors that we visited. I would do this again. Tour was a very reasonable price.

This tour was the highlight of our quick trip to Vancouver. Lydia was an excellent guide and gave us all kinds of info on the city and what else to try in terms of menu items at the stops on tour, as well as other places in the city to see. Everything we had was delicious and we were full for the rest of the day. The Chai latte is the best I've ever had...and you can't beat a hot fresh donut!
