Our guide was Asami and she and the tour were fantastic! We found great places that we never would have found on our own and having someone who's bilingual to order for us and translate was a huge help in that we got to experience things we wouldn't have otherwise done. Asami has a binder full of data, information about the food we were trying, and some pages with key words and phrases in Japanese that we all learned while on the tour - I can't recommend her enough.

My colleague and I took this tour as part of a whirlwind 2-day trip to Tokyo. It was a perfect fit as the tour guide was a fountain of knowledge related to Tokyo in addition to the trying out of various foods. Had a great time touring the food scene in Shibuya with Norma. She was very knowledgable and friendly. Not only is this a food tour, but also a history and information tour of the area. We went to 5 different places and I was stuffed by the end. It's all paid for except for if you want a beer or something at the restaurants (except one, it was included)

I booked this tour for my boyfriend's bday and it was perfect. Ryu was our guide and he was wonderful. Very friendly and funny too! Ryu shared information about the culture and other facts about Japan which added to the whole experience. He took us to places we wouldn't have known and all the food spots were so so good! Highly recommend this tour if you want to experience different high quality foods as well the Shibuya area. Recommend the last time so you can enjoy the night life afterwards. Thank you Ryu!

This was more than a food tour, we learned about the area, Japanese culture, the history. Walking the streets of the area, you get so many tips about where to go and what to do. We booked this tour to experience the Shibuya neighborhood, and Kate fully delivered. Not only did we eat delicious food, but she gave history of the neighborhood and cultural highlights as well. As other reviewers have said, you'd be really full by the end of the tour. That's why we came prepared and brought some food containers along so that we can pack any unfinished food and enjoy them the following day. While I'm more of a meat lover, the highlight of the tour for me turned out to be the sushi stop. Definitely the best sushi I've ever had! The kobe beef skewers didn't disappoint either. I took one star off as something I would change is the dessert, as I would think there are better options out there which I would be more curious to try than the custard-filled pancakes we had on this tour instead.
