We had a 12 hr layover in Taipei, I was traveling with 4 children aged 7, 9, 12 and 14. James was a fabulous host, very knowledgeable and easy going. We made up the itinerary, and the kids and I loved the hot springs and had a wonderful drive up a nearby mountain. We were tired, but it was relaxing and a great to see some nature instead of staying in the airport. I thoroughly recommend this tour.

Jack is a terrific guide. He asked at the start what types of things I wanted to see on the 6-hour tour, and I answered museums, typical tourist things, and good simple food. Jack delivered on all this and much more. He was talkative and conversational, and told me a lot about Taiwan history. Our shared lunch at the end was fabulous, at a cost of only $12! A great way to get a feel for Taipei.
