Small Group Visa Free St. Petersburg 2-day Grand Shore Excursion

Svetlana, our tour guide made this tour very special. We covered an amazing amount of history with in depth knowledge and a great sense of humour. Couldn't have been better!

Our Alla tour guide Eugenia was phenomenal! We had a two day action packed tour which was perfectly orchestrated. We had early entry tickets to the Hermitage which allowed us to get started ahead of hundreds of other visitors. Advance tickets, when available, had been purchased to expedite every facet of each visit. Thoroughly enjoyed the Hermitage, Peter and Paul Cathedral, the church on Spilled Blood, St Isaac’s Cathedral, riding the subway, the boat tour, lunch at a traditional Russian restaurant and the lengthy walk around The Peterhof gardens. On day 2 we walked over 5 miles, resulting in two of our 8 passengers sitting out St Catherine’s palace which was the most crowded. Personally, I would drop the Yusupov Palace and add the Faberge Museum as the palace did not measure up to the others. Kudos to Eugenia and driver Sergei with his comfortable MB van for perfectly timing every stop. Highly recommend

We completed this 2 day tour with our guide Demitre who was excellent, sharing his knowledge and passion for St Petersburg. We were on a cruise and did not know what to expect but all of the sights exceeded our expectations, we have never seen so much gold and decoration in and on buildings anywhere else in the world. On arrival at the port we cleared border control and were greeted by a rep from Alla Tours, everything was as described in the programme, small group, clean mini bus, excellent guide and driver. Would recommend and use this company again if we returned.

My wife and I took Ulko tours for our trip to St. Petersburg and we can't begin to speak highly enough about our St. Petersburg tour. It was the pinnacle of our 13-day cruise and our tour guides Alex and Oleg were fantastic. Alex was our guide and Oleg was our driver. Alex had such a deep knowledge of all the places we saw and was able to add so much more to the tour. He really made history come alive with extra the information we learned. The bus very was clean, up-to-date and Alex and Oleg were always protective of us, watching at all times to make sure no one got left behind, and attentive enough to find plenty of clean places for bathroom stops. We never had any problems hearing what he had to say because the audio system was first-rate and Alex's English is impeccable. Really, we couldn't have asked for a better tour thanks to these guys. We hit all the points that were listed and even a couple that weren't on the list. Never even felt like we were rushed that much at any of the spots either. Lunch on day one was delicious. I've never had Borsch soup that tasty. Lunch on day 2 was good. Since we had to drive a distance to see Peterhof Palace we ate while we drove which was fine with us. We got to eat and sightsee. Each day, Alex and Oleg even found time for us to do a little souvenir shopping. If you're on the fence about this tour, or Ulkotours, don't be. These folks did a great job of showing us all around St. Petersburg. Have fun! We did!

We booked a Viator tour for the 2 day St Petersburg tour and it surpassed our wildest dreams. We had been on a Princess cruise in the Baltic and had used Princess tours for other ports, but they didn't have what we wanted for St Petersburg, so we booked through Viator, which we have ued extensively all over the world. It was the best tour of our whole vacation. Our tour guide, Alexandra, from Alla Tours, was so knowledgable and so nice , she brought St Petersburg to life. Highly recommended !!

Viator hit a homerun with this one. Our guide Dimitri did a fabulous job. Dimitri, a native Russian spoke impeccable English. His knowledge of the sites we visited ( which was many ) was amazing. Our tour was way less than what the cruise ship wanted for the same tour. Our tour was limited to 16 people, as the cruise company uses 40 person buses. We were in a 16 person Mercedes van that was plush. I highly recommend taking this tour. You will be wore out at the end of 2 days, but it is an awesome tour.

I would definitely recommend this tour. Eleana from Alla Tours was our guide for 2 days. She was excellent. We saw all the highlights and learned so much about Russian history. Also had a fabulous lunch at a beautiful restaurant.

I have no reservations in rating this excursion as A+. Our guide, Alex A., was extremely knowledgeable. He directed our tour well, making best use of the time and overseeing our comfort. The small group format allowed flexibility for weather and traffic considerations. I feel every penny was well-spent to see so much of St. Petersburg in two days.

The tour visited many of the popular destinations in St. Petersburg. We saw all of the important sites and the tour guide was pleasant and informative. All of our group enjoyed the tour.
