Return Details

Returns to original departure point
Meet a driver at your Sedona hotel for pickup, then begin the 109 mile (175 km) trip to the Grand Canyon. The drive itself is a highlight, following a route through the scenic Oak Creek Canyon to views of the San Francisco Peaks, a volcanic mountain range that towers over the surrounding landscape.

You’ll see the otherworldly rock formations of the Painted Desert, and take a break at the Cameron Trading Post, where you can browse handicrafts and artwork made by local members of the Zuni, Hopi, and Navajo tribes.

When you arrive at Grand Canyon National Park, you’ll have views down into the Little Colorado River Gorge, and pause at a series of overlooks for views into the canyon. See the Desert View Watchtower that looms at the edge of the South Rim, get the most expansive views on the South Rim from Lipan Point, then visit Yavapai Point, where a 600-foot (183-meter) drop exposes layers of the Grand Canyon’s 1.8 billion-year-old rocks.

Finish your time at the South Rim with dinner at one of the national park lodges, then begin the return trip to Sedona, where this tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.

This was an excellent experience! Steve was our tour guide and he was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about nature, the canyon, and Arizona! Each view was better than the next and you have enough time at each stop for beautiful photos and simply taking in the views. This tour is worth every penny!

Sheldon was informative, fun and open to ideas from the group. He had lunch and dinner menus ready for our review. Sent us home with wonderful maps and magazines of AZ and GC. I couldn't ask for a better guide. I was on the tour solo and he appreciated and respected having a little space from the group to enjoy and reflect! It was above all my expectations! Thank you from the 603!

Our Family (2 adults, 2 children, ages 9 and 12) took this fantastic tour on March 29, 2021. Steve was our tour guide. The tour was amazing and Steve was a fountain of great information about everything. Highly recommended tour. As Steve may say, “water finds it’s way”. Thanks for a great tour Steve!

Matt was fantastic! The tour from start to finish was perfect! He even was able to give us a sunny day! Glad we did this tour! Would not have been able to see half of what we saw, and he knew how to avoid lots of people! Been on lots of tours snd this was one of the best. Matt is very knowledgeable! Give him a raise!

Beautiful scenery and sunset our guide was extremely knowledgeable. Will definitely recommend this tour as it revealed more beauty than the west rim tour.

Excellent trip to the Grand Canyon! Our driver & guide was Matt. He is extremely knowledgeable about the "big hole in the ground"! Trip was about 10.5 hours. Had plenty of time to take pictures from several locations before watching sunset. Meal was included on way home.

Friendly. Upbeat. Informative. Great Schedule.

Appreciated the rest stops and being notified when we could expect the next one. Accommodating to different age ranges-option to sit and soak in view or could wonder a little down small paths. The advertising on the website could have included more description about what weather to expect at different times of the year. We also had to inquire about how much activity was involved - hiking or not/what attire to wear. Thank you for a great trip!
