Enjoy this ‘best-of’ food tour of Seattle’s famous Pike Place Market, exploring the back alleys, narrow corridors and tiny storefronts of this mega-popular location. Created back in 1907 to connect the city’s citizens and farmers, Pike Place Market is a beloved Seattle landmark, welcoming more than 10 million visitors each year. Today, the Market remains Emerald City’s home for farm-fresh, locally sourced, artisanal and specialty foods. It’s a place to meet the farmers, butchers, bakers, winemakers and all those who bring their bounty to this 9-acre table day in and day out. Taste the authentic flavors of India with saffron spice, a classic street-food staple. Enjoy fresh biscuits — made with local ingredients and sustainable farming practices — plus real Italian gelato. Stop at Ellenos Real Greek Yogurt (made from locally sourced ingredients), Las Agaves for authentic Mexican street tacos and the Pure Fish Food Market for the best smoked salmon in the world. There’s also Pike Place chowder, voted the best in the country three times, plus ‘to-die-for’ truffles, hand-crafted Bavarian meats and Seattle super chef Tom Douglas’s signature salmon burger. Feel like a market insider on this behind-the-scenes adventure to experience the sights, sounds, and flavors of this historic place.

This was an outstanding tour! All of the food samples were excellent but even more impressive was our tour guides knowledge of the market and the area in general. It was great to learn about the market community and their philanthropic efforts to maintain the market and improve the lives of so many within the market community. NOLA was excellent and I have already referred several friends.

The market history is fascinating and the current community is a wonderful expression of artistry, passion, social commitment and AMAZING food products. It was a wonderful 2 hours of learning and tasting but make sure you have extra time to go back to all your favorite stops and buy treats to bring home! Our guide was a wonderful hostess and I'd recommend this tour to anyone!

This tour was over priced...

This tour was over priced and very underwhelming. Tour guide spent most of the time telling us where the bathrooms were and she mentioned attonement a bunch of times for all the things we did to the indigenous people. ?? All I wanted was a tour and food

Hi Robert! So sorry that the tour didn't meet your expectations. We try to accommodate everyone's needs, especially making sure guests know where restrooms are as facilities are still limited due to COVID. If you would reach out to us via email, we would love to follow up with you to get more details so we can issue you a refund. Again, apologies, and thanks for the feedback.

We had the best experience on this tour! Will was everything you want in a tour guide! He knew so many facts and so much history about the market and was so so kind. Our kids absolutely adored him. He went above and beyond to keep them engaged and to try finding our picky eater something he’d like. He even took time at the end of the tour when it was his break to give us suggestions on things to take the kids to do. We went back to the market the next day and our kids even said they wished they could see him again. 5/5 would highly recommend the tour and requesting Will!

Will was amazing. He accommodated my dietary needs (vegetarian) and everything amazing. The Truffle Queen blew my mind: the truffle salt, mm mm mm… so much flavor!!!! That tasting was the one that impressed me the most. The vegan chowder at the Pike Place Chowder… delish!!! Will has great recommendations: I did have lunch at Pasta Casalinga. 100% authentic Italian (I could hear the owner parlar over the phone).
