This activity will end right where it started. We'll pick you up where you're staying in Downtown Seattle including any hotel, Airbnb, hostels, and the port. If you are staying outside our legal downtown pick-up zone, we are happy to meet you at our default pick up location—The Sheraton Grand Hotel. We offer pick-up on Bainbridge Island or in Port Angeles upon request. We will call/text/email around noon the day prior to your tour to confirm your pick-up location and exact pick-up time. No need to check-in before we contact you (unless you have a question, of course!).
After being picked up at your hotel in downtown Seattle, climb into a luxury vehicle and begin the journey to Olympic National Park.

The park features snow-covered mountains, rain forests, and the majestic Pacific coastline. There are remote beaches, plus the country’s oldest forests and one of Washington’s most dramatic mountain ranges. The Olympic Peninsula is home to some of the greatest wilderness left in the United States, including sixteen species of plants and animals that evolved here—and nowhere else. Enjoy short, interpretive nature walks throughout the day. If there is enough snow for snowshoeing, the guide will bring all the necessary equipment.

Learn forest ecology and the geology of the stunning Olympic Mountains. Weather permitting, drive up to Hurricane Ridge for incredible mountain views and spot wildlife and waterfalls along the scenic routes. Visit the pristine waters of stunning Crescent Lake in the northern foothills of the Olympic Mountains. This lake was carved by glaciers, so it’s an ideal spot for those in search of natural beauty. On days when weather closes access to Hurricane Ridge, visit the sandy coastline of the Dungeness Wildlife Refuge or spend more time among the forests and waterfalls of the Elwha Valley.

At midday, a gourmet picnic is provided. Please see the Itinerary section for menu information.

The guide was great. The van was awful. There was no leg room for anyone larger than a hobbit. I was horribly uncomfortable for the entire tour
icon Response from Host , Jun 2022
Hi Liz, I am sorry you were uncomfortable on your tour. We use the Ford Transit vans as they can normally seat 10 comfortably, and so we can reach parts of the park that would be unreachable by bus. If you would like some recommendations for larger charter bus tours where you can spread out, I would be happy to offer some up! Best of luck in your future travels! DJ | Evergreen Escapes

Great one day (6 hour) tour of Olympic National Park. We had plenty of time for a fantastic hike to Hurricane Ridge, lunch along the Elwah River and waterfall, and a lovely hike around Crescent Lake. The picnic lunch was delicious! Our guide, Marty, was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and provided great information throughout the trip. Pick up and drop off at our hotel was timely and travel was very smooth and well organized. We would highly recommend this trip as an introduction to Olympic National Park.

Great variety for a single-day trip
Laurie_B
, May 2022
This is an incredibly well thought out and planned tour! It included sightseeing and hiking at a wide variety of locations including in the mountains, by a lake, through the forest, near waterfalls, and across the bay. The tour also included plenty of snacks and a full family-style meal. Our tour guide, Jenna, was extremely knowledgeable about the park and adjusted specific activities and hiking routes based on the ability of each of our group's members. If you only have one day to see the park, then this tour is probably one of the best ways to do it!

The guide was very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. Five stars for the guide. However, the mini-bus ride was awful. It was cramped and since my wife and I were picked up last, we had to sit in separate rows next to strangers for the entire 12 hour day. This was not ok and we will never take a trip such as this ever again.
icon Response from Host , May 2022
Hi Marek, Thank you for sharing your experience, I'm sorry our tour wasn't what you were looking for. Hopefully you and your wife were able to be together for the few hours of the tour where you weren't in the van. If you ever aren't happy on your tour, you should let you guide know so they can adjust and make the trip more enjoyable for you. Our tours are not run out of large buses as we want to keep our guest capacity limited to 10. Our vans don't have the space a charter bus would, but we're able to go places those buses can't go and keep the experience more intimate and personal for each of our travelers. For anyone specifically looking for larger bus based tours, I would be happy to offer recommendations for local companies who provide this type of experience! Best of luck in your future travels, DJ | Evergreen Escapes

My fiance and I did the all-inclusive day tour of Olympic National Park with our tour guide Meg. We had an amazing time! Meg kept us well-supplied with extra jackets, snowshoes, and a seemingly endless supply of snacks and drinks. Lunch was delicious and we saw so many cool sights. Meg was very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna as well. Highly recommended tour!

Great trip. Sean was one the best tour guides I have had with intimate knowledge of the park and he took us to some of the most beautiful spots in the NP. Too bad we could not do Hurricane Ridge due to the snowstorm, but other than that everything was perfect.

Hi RD, I am glad you had a great time! We take pride in our guide's knowledge and abilities, and it's nice to see that recognized. Hope to have you back with us in the future! Best, DJ | Evergreen Escapes
