A very interesting historical tour made all the better by a warm friendly guide. Angel was also able to fill us in on all the plants and trees along the route.

An amazing experience. The views, the fellowship, the history of the Camino hike gave us memories for a lifetime. Ready for the real Camino next year. The hike is challenging but doable for any semi active middle ager, dress for the climate and wear hiking shoes. Our guide Angel was a delight, his knowledge, energy and kindness was a terrific

We were looking, for an insight of what the Camino walk would feel like, once in the mountain we saw great views and a lot of Peligrinos walking by. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes, our guide Angel was great, when we got to the other town Pasai, is a must see. More challenging than expected.

Severe winds and rain (15 to 20 mph with severe rain). Our reservation said it would be cancelled for incremental weather. When the weather was bad we called the number Viator provided to see if our group of 6 should show; it was disconnected. Spoke to two reps who were apologetic and said the charge would be refunded because they couldn't get ahold of anyone. The next day they said the company ran the tour as usual and we wouldn't be refunded. Claimed the weather may have varied (4 blocks from pick up spot; right...) Viator is doing a review to see if a refund was "mistakenly" offered and it will take up to two weeks. Total scam; walked the trail the next day and there is no way it could have been safe; steep and covered in moss. Don't believe a real tour event went but don't know for sure. No reason for a guide anyway; clear trail and not hard to figure out if you're careful. No way anyone should go if it's raining though as there is moss, clay, and slick boulders. Dangerous and makes no sense. Beautiful views and terrain when weather permits though. Probably wouldn't use a tour and definitely not this one.

Amazing I almost quit because I didn't know if I had the stamina to complete it but the tour guide and my fellow travelers coaxed me along and it was so well worth it.

Our guide was not informative or interesting at all and would not wait for the people in the back to catch up. Wish I could remember his name but it appears that other guides were better. The road is rough but not impossible.

What a great trip - from Donostia to Pasai Donibane! Vigorous hike with our Great Guide Oihana. We had a great time - ending with some delicious pintxos and plenty of Txakoli. Totally recommend this excursion - and ask for Oihana...she was a tremendous guide.
