Serving up history and terrific food

We enjoyed meeting Vail, our guide, who managed to accommodate us even though I have some mobility issues. The food and drinks at the restaurants we went to was absolutely wonderful. I’m only sorry we didn’t take the tour earlier in our stay because there were several places we wish we had had time to back to. So, my advice is to take the tour on your first or second night. We also enjoyed learning about the history of San Miguel. This is a great experience and we highly recommend it.

Tacos and Tequila

I LOVED this tour. My tour guide was personable and knowledgeable - not only about tacos and tequila/mezcal (he's a foodie!) but gave interesting asides about SMA history and architecture. We went from high-end hidden specialist bars to hole-in-the-wall to street stalls and finally a cantina. Tacos ranged from delicious to absolutely delicious! I've visited SMA at Xmas for the last 6 years and this tour showed me places I never knew existed. Highly recommend.
