Great fun. Great group of people. Oscar was a very knowledgeable host and fun guide. He taught us a few Mexican ways to taste Mescal and tequila . The food was great. Traditional indigenous dishes from the state of Guanajuato. Andy’s tacos from the street cart are famous and deserve all the all the praise I had heard about this street taco 🌮

Tacos, Tequila, and MORE!

Our tour with Oscar went beyond our expectations. We learned more history than our City Tour the day before. I’m personally not a fan of mezcal, but after tasting “400 Conejos” I’m a fan. And, wow…I guess it’s telling I need to get out of my comfort zone because the vegan restaurant, Don Tacos Tequila, blew my socks off AND was also a favorite of my 80 year old parents. The tacos and drinks were highly inventive. Lastly, the al pastor street tacos from Andy’s were so memorable that our group has ordered them twice from places we already had reservations. FYI, Andy’s is better. ;) Can’t wait to come back. I’d definitely do the tour again.

This was an awesome tour. Not to be missed. A great orientation to the beautiful city of San Miguel de Allende. Oscar was our guide for the evening. His English is perfect and he provided historical insights along the way. The food and beverage selections were excellent, ranging from amazing traditional chicken mole to upscale jicama shrimp tacos, as well as some delicious Baja style fish tacos to awesome street tacos. The tequila offerings were equally varied including an opportunity to make our own Paloma cocktails. Oscar was an absolute delight with vast knowledge of the local history. This is an excursion that is not to be missed.

Great way to see the city and check out the wide variety of options for food and drinks available. I was visiting family but went on my own for an evening and ended up with new restaurants, a new type of alcohol and 4 new friends!
