Returns to original departure point
Your experience starts when you pick up your bike in the morning in North Beach, a San Francisco neighborhood near Fisherman’s Wharf. Receive some safety instructions and tips about the bike, plus get your helmet and bike lock.

Then set off through the northern part of the city toward the Golden Gate Bridge, stopping for photo ops whenever you wish — this is an independent tour, so you can pedal at your own pace. Take in dramatic views of the city, the Pacific Ocean, and Alcatraz Island as you cross the bridge, and then cruise downhill into the village of Sausalito, which sits on the waterfront of San Francisco Bay.

Drop off your bike and perhaps get some lunch, if you wish, at one of the eateries on the water (own expense) before boarding the shuttle to Muir Woods, which departs in the early afternoon. When you arrive at Muir Woods National Monument, pay your own entrance fee and then enjoy an hour to explore the grove of giant redwood trees, some of the oldest and tallest trees on the planet.

When your time is up, you’ll be returned to San Francisco via shuttle to end your tour.

This experience was well with the money and time. The company was easy to work with, prompt at responding to inquiries, and very friendly. It was SO exciting to ride across the Golden Gate. The bus tour of Muir Woods was exceptional! Our driver, Captain Randy, was the best!

Best day ever! The electric bikes were amazing and the views were breathtaking! LOVED Sully our guide! He gave great background info on historical sites, played fun music along the way and went out of his way to make sure it was a great day!!
Great bus tour

Staff is very friendly and informative. Our driver was Sully, and he was awesome! We had signed up for the bike tour/Muir woods. However, we changed our minds that day. They then offered us the bus tour and it was wonderful! I would highly recommend using this company for your tours of San Francisco! Bike if you want, or take the bus tour like we did. You won’t be disappointed.
Perfect! Memorable! Awesome!

The electric bikes were extremely easy to use and extremely fun! I loved the entire adventure. From biking to tourist activities to hiking Muir. The bus ride home was perfect.

I loved biking around San Fran. Our bikes worked great and it was so beautiful. We also enjoyed going to Muir Woods.
Great Experience

We had an amazing day and it was made better by Constantine and his expert tips. We booked late so all that was left was electric bikes which ended up being a good experience and allowed us to see more of the city. We liked how you were pretty much on your own most of the day. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great day exploring.

Great idea to start early when the streets of SF were empty. Bikes were easy to use and fun. Difficult to figure out exactly how to get on GG Bridge, but once on, the ride was amazing. Nice mellow afternoon in breathtaking Muir Woods.

Bike the Bridge and Hike the Park

What a fantastic experience yesterday!! I will say tho, follow the advice on layers, the bridge is very windy! Again very windy!! I liked that the bike portion was without a guide and we could stop along the way where we wanted for pictures etc. Sausalito was do quaint, lunch spot right across from the water , delicious! Then we met up with Aaron for the Muir Woods part of the day, he is a GREAT guide and advice on how to enjoy the woods in the time we had there was perfect!
Extremely Enjoyable

We thoroughly enjoyed the Bike the GGBridge & Shuttle to Muir Woods Tour!! Despite the fact that the employee was about 15 minutes late to open the store and I had to call to verify that we should be where the paperwork stated, it was a wonderful experience. We received brief instructions on how to use our E-Bikes and were given gear and sent on our way. (Thank God for the E-Bikes as those hills are killers!!). We stopped at many locations and biked into Sausalito, returned our bikes (the return spot was a little hard to find), had a quick bite to eat, then took the shuttle to Muir Woods. This was such a beautiful and serine spot and my only wish is that we had more time to spend there. I think it would be nice to extend the bike time so you could spend longer in Sausalito and definitely more time in Muir Woods. Our Shuttle driver, Constantine, was very information and an all around nice guy. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting San Francisco!! Thank you Dylan's Tours!!
