Rambling commentary and inaccurate. Back checked a few of his ramblings and they were completely wrong. Mumbled so was very difficult to hear and understand. Trees were amazing.

Overly chatty driver and missing our return thru Marin Headlands

We signed up specifically for a tour that did *not* include Sausalito, as we had no interest in shopping or dining there. We intentionally chose a Muir Woods tour that returned with a scenic drive through the Marin Headlands, and that’s not what happened. We were driven through Sausalito, where the bus parked for ten minutes, and then directly back over the bridge. Also our bus driver didn’t turn on any AC or open any windows until I finally had to beg for some air, as I’d gotten so carsick on the trip. Muir Woods is phenomenal, but I was not impressed with this tour.

Muir Woods, highly recommended

First our bus driver James was the best. He provided so much information about Muir Woods and the area in general. If I would do this trip again I would request him. The drive out to Muir Woods is beaufiful and the woods themselves are breath-taking. the air is so clean and fresh. The trees themselves look majestic. The Big Red Bus was clean and very comfortable.

Great day out away from the city

There were only us and another couple for the time booked, so we were fortunate that they still ran the tour. Our guide, Guillermo, was brilliant, with lots of facts and figures provided in a really interesting way. Our driver Anatina, was great at navigating the roads, and the woods, were amazing and blissful and seemed a million miles from the hustle of the city. Well worth a visit.

Our driver, Dwayne Johnson, was phenomenal. Not only was this a way for us to get to Muir Woods- he was so knowledgeable of the history of every aspect of the tour. We learned so much on our trip! Highly recommend Big Bus Tours!

Worth a visit

Mighty Mike was our driver/tour guide. He was well informed, courteous, and an excellent driver (negotiating the narrow winding road to Muir. The redwoods are breathtaking! We had 1 hr. which was ample time to explore although I believe the tour description said we'd have 1 1/2 hours. We chose to be dropped off in Sausalito where wandered the lovely town - docks, shops, and restaurants and took the ferry back to Fisherman's Wharf.
