Had Fun!

We had a great time cuddling the sloths and playing with the monkeys. We were able to get some great pictures. When we got the snorkeling part of our trip we were told we would have a 40 minute wait but it turned into a 2 hour wait. They were not very organized. Once we got to go snorkeling it was amazing to see all the colorful fish.

Visit the Raymond Daniel's Hang-out on your own; forget the snorkel

Hang out great tour with guides in each cage of rescues:: sloths, guinea pig, parrots, and capuchin 2 yr old monkeys. Then we went to beach area where we were to snorkel, then eat. Sat for 2 hours before snorkel and so ate overcooked, shrimp and plantains, with coconut rice. Bar maid rang up my daiqueri almost charging me almost $13 rather than the $8. Boat had to borrow life vests from another boat. No instructions for newbies on clearing mouth piece.

Personal service and local knowledge from our guide Brandon made for an unforgettable first time to this beautiful island. Visits to the Monkey & Sloth centre and the Iguana refuge were well organised with plenty of hands on experience. We met up with another group for our snorkel trip which included 3 different sites on the reef including a wreck. Well organised and safe but be prepared to jump from side of boat( we're both 66 and managed ok). There is a ladder and help to get out. We had lunch with our guide and could have had an optional horse back ride. Overall we loved the trip.
