Meet your guide at your hotel prior to your selected morning or afternoon departure time and head to a private reserve and adventure park, located just minutes from downtown Monteverde. Your tour begins in the primary, old-growth section of the cloud forest and moves to the newer secondary forest, offering a broad perspective of life cycles in the forest.

Start your trip with a zipline tour over the canopy, providing a heart-pounding view of the cloud forest below. Then, rappel 150 feet down to the forest floor. A ladder system through the hollow core of an old tree brings you back up into the treetops, and an optional Tarzan swing free-fall experience brings you back down.

Guides accompany you through every step of the adventure to ensure your safety and entertainment, as well as to answer questions about the local ecosystem.

Get dropped off back at your hotel or other specified drop-off location in Monteverde at the end of your adventure.

    David and Brian were superb guides. We felt very safe and assured and were really nice guys. It was the one of the best experiences in life I’ve had. I’m 53 and never done anything like this and with my 19 year old son. Mum and son bonding time it was amazing and I feel so proud we did it and that’s due to the guys who’s instruction and care and humour was paramount to our experience.

    Incredible Experience Above the Cloud Forest

    Ziplining across the cloud forest was magical and so awesome! The guides are thorough with safety instructions and demonstrations, and while there is a little bit of work involved (braking and staying straight), it was a phenomenal experience. The most adrenal-pumping activity is the first activity, the Tarzan swing. Flying through the trees is truly freeing. Most attendees are most wary on the first zipline, where we try braking and "keep going". The last four/longest zip lines are truly the most amazing. It's above the cloud forest and it's an incredible sight. The free drop and climbing up a tree/rope swing wasn't advertised as part of the ziplining experience but were very cool to do. The guides kept us safe the whole time and seemed like they come every day enjoying their jobs.

    We had a really great time on this tour! It was very organized and we felt very safe. It is clear that they have a lot of experience and are thorough checking that everyone is secure. It definitely was a longer tour (I think 11 different activities/lines) and it was beautiful being up in the canopies. We did feel a little rushed and the guides did not take the time to get to know us (which is OK, they deal with so many people!) but that was different from other tours that we did in Costa Rica where they were very personalized.

    Great experience! My friend and I were very nervous but the guides were super friendly and fun. There’s 6 zip lines to start out with, with the Tarzan swing, rope rappelling and hanging ladder as an option. Then you can choose to continue onto some longer, more adventurous zip lines which was amazing for me to have that option. Overall my friend and I loved the experience, and the views. We felt very safe and secure.

    Really fun but safe experience! Our guides David & Brian were very kind, funny, and pros at ziplining. Hotel pickup was a bit later than expected, but we made it there & quickly made friends with our fellow group-mates (there were only 6 of us, which was a nice size). My partner & I would recommend this to any travelers who love a thrill.
