By far the most refreshing and entertaining experience we had. Our tour guide was professional, took us to the best family owned taco stands for authentic food and was accommodating. We cannot wait to do this tour again.

We had the best time on this tour, and the tacos were amazing. Our guide shared many details about the way the various types of tacos were prepared and about the families that operated the businesses we visited. It was fun meeting the other people who were on the tour and sharing a small portion of our vacation time on this relaxing enjoyable tour. I would definitely do this again.

Due to COVID, this ended up being a split tour with my guide, Omero. Omero showed me all the key areas of the city, while we sampled various kinds of tacos, beer, chocolate, and ice cream. Very friendly guide, good food, and great scenery.

Homer was an awesome guide. He showed us all the best spots of all the places he trusts, and the food was fantastic. We have been going back for more tacos each day since the tour.

Exploring the hidden taco scene of Puerto Vallarta

Homero knows a thing or two about tacos. When he started describing the first taco (a carnitas treat), I knew the tour was going to be amazing. He thinks through all the details by giving you time to ride around the city, see some sights, and get exposed to things you wouldn't find on your own. My favorite was the chicharrón with horchata at the second stop. Tough to beat! If you book this, you won't regret it.

Do Not Eat Breakfast before this tour!! Our tour guide Homero was THE BEST!!! Homero took us to serveral local authentic taco stands. All the tacos were delicious. Beware of the cobblestone on the road while biking it was uncomfortable. We also stop at La Casa Del Tabaco for cigars. On our way back we stop at a local bar for a nice refreshing margarita and beer. We ended our tour by stopping by a local family own ice cream shop. The ice cream was very good. I would recommend this tour to all tourists. Request for Homero as your tour guide.

Enjoyable Experience for Friends and Family

There was a big 3-hour parade being held the day we went on this tour so we had to make a number of detours on the cobblestone roads. I had never ridden a mountain bike or a bike with wide tires before, so it took a bit of time to learn how to maneuver the bike, especially over the cobblestones. We did get to our street vendor destinations, however, and tasted the various meat tacos. One thing I think people should be aware of is that a few of these vendors cook their meat with lard--a no, no for people concerned with cholesterol. Other than that, our tour guide was good and we had a very pleasant ending at a local bar where we cooled off with a nice local beer or non-alcoholic drink.
