What a great experience! Miguel and felix were excellent guides and the national park is incredibly beautiful. We loved the kayaking and the lunch was delicious. The views on our walk were stunning. Highly recommend the tour for anyone visiting Porto, would definitely do again

We had a great experience kayaking at the lake, hiking in the national park and swimming near the waterfall. Miguel was a terrific guide and was very informative about the area and fun to hang out with!

Before the day there was great communication from the office as to where will be picked up from, what time, and if we had any allergies. On the day Diogo (our tour guide for the day) picked us up on time. He made the day extremely fun and interesting and always kept the conversation going throughout the group. He had great knowledge of the local area and provided a great example of local stories, customs and traditions which was amazing. Diogo is a great guy and we wish him all the best for the future and hopefully see him again on our other trips to Portugal :). Overall from booking to actually going on the tour it was absolutely hassle and stress-free and we had a brilliant time. I highly recommend it because it taught us about the local people and culture and took us to some amazing places which we would have missed if we just stuck to the city of Porto. Thank you to Diogo again and the team at Oporto Adventure Tours

Great day in Geres National Park from Porto

Our day in the Geres National Park was, except for a little rain early in the day, everything we could have asked for. The scenery is stunning, the kayaking was serene and the falls were beautiful. Our guide Alfonso was knowledgeable and engaging and he showed us a few extra highlights of the park. The pick-up at our hotel was on time and the lunch was fantastic. I would highly recommend this day trip to anyone looking for a day exploring the natural habitat of Geres when in Porto.

The tour was perfect. The activities are really well planned. From the pickup to the drop off, our guide, Afonso, was energetic and really cool. He ensured to make our adventure 100% better. The kayak and paddle, the food, the incredible view and waterfall, everything was perfect

Everything was perfect and mostly because of our guide Pedro (he deserve 5 stars). He was very friendly and he make us feel like we had a good days with some friends. We were only 4 on the tour whit similar hability so the tour could have been adapted to our level and interests. This tour is well balanced between activity and chilling. This is the perfect day out of the city. Summary : nice place to do kayak and swim a bit, fun jeep experience, very good lunch (which is not always like this when there is a lunch include with a tour) and a very good location, great hicking and fun by the waterfalls and all his on picture (as Pedro played the paparazzi).

Malgré une météo hasardeuse, nous avons passé une journée exceptionnelle, notamment grâce au guide Miguel qui était génial (voir plus bas). Les 1h30 de voiture aller et retour en valent vraiment largement la peine. Une fois arrivés à l'orée du parc national, nous avons fait du kayak sur le fleuve, ce qui nous a permis d'observer les rives magnifiques. Puis nous avons mangé dans un petit restaurant local, très simple avec un accueil agréable. Ensuite direction le cœur du parc via un chemin très ancien, attention à la tête dans la voiture (heureusement que le véhicule est 4x4), avant de finir de descendre la colline à pieds. Et là, wow ! Une magnifique cascade nous attendait, et nous avons pu nous baigner dans son lit. Nous avons ensuite repris le chemin arpenté et nous sommes dirigés vers un village qui, comme tout le reste, est en symbiose avec la nature. C'était mémorable. Un mot de plus sur le guide qui tout au long de la journée a entretenu notre curiosité, notre bonne humeur et notre admiration pour ces lieux hors du temps que nous avons visités. Il a su nous transmettre sa passion pour le parc national et ses habitants (humains, animaux, végétaux ou minéraux). Et encore merci Miguel pour le désinfectant quand je me suis coupé en glissant :)
