Amazing Day

Every single stop on this tour was phenomenal! Even the time in the shuttle was entertaining, informative and scenic. Joel was the best guide I could have asked for - so knowledgeable, accommodating and personable. This was the perfect introduction to all the park has to offer and definitely whet my appetite for a return trip. I am SO glad I chose this tour, and have already recommended it to several friends!

The Olympic National Park tour was amazing. We saw all kinds of beautiful scenery -- tide pools on a rocky beach, a beautiful lake, a shady forest, an amazing waterfall, and a mountain ridge. When I signed up for this trip, I read that it involved some hiking and was worried that I would not be able to keep up -- my fitness level is mediocre at best -- but the tour is set up so that everyone can go at their own pace. The tour guide, Joel, really went above and beyond to make sure that everyone had a great time.

What a wonderful review! Thank you for hitting on exactly why this tour appeals to so many. In one day you will get to see a little of everything nature has to offer in Washington. (except for the desert-that is a different tour) We are so glad you had a great time and hope you can come back and join us for one of our other tours as well. Best regards-

great intro to beautiful national park

I didn't quite know what to expect of Olympic National Park, it's not as close to Seattle as Mt Rainier so it was a last minute trip but it was worth every moment. Loved the view of green valley from Hurricane Ridge but Crescent Lake was absolutely astounding. Clear, cool water that made me regret not bringing shorts but I enjoyed the easy walk through the forest that leads to waterfall. Joel who led us was friendly and attentive to his individual members of the team but also gave us space to enjoy the nature all around us. Thanks again.

I appreciate that Joel chose only 3 main stops and gave us a lot of time to explore each area. He provided a lot of great insight about the scenery, animals, and plants. He also went above and beyond taking peoples photos in interesting angles! Great guy.

Amazing trip of the Olympic forest
Tess
, May 2021
Joel was amazing and very informative. The trip was perfect. Lasted about 12 hours and we got to see a beach & waterfall, hike to the top of a breathtaking mountain ridge, take a ferry, and hear interesting facts about the forest and nature. The bus was comfortable with seats that push back a bit and the group size isn't too large (I think 22 max). The first stop is a little gas station/store/deli for supplies for the day - sandwiches and little snacks to pack for the drive around the Olympic park. The hikes were manageable for most people and you could go at your own pace. My husband and I had an amazing time and it felt like a great deal for the money. I would recommend bringing an extra pair of socks or two as the mountains were snowy in May and my shoes weren't waterproof. Otherwise you need a nice pair of comfy pants and shoes suitable for a few miles of easy hiking (grips for mountain ridge) as well as a windbreaker and a decent hat to keep your ears warm. Layers a plus with the wind.
