Bait and switch scam! Avoid at all costs!

The tour company overbooked the tour and forced us on a van instead of tour bus. The van was small, crammed, noisy, dirty, with terrible ride. Our request to sit on tour bus was ignored. We were at a transfer center in the middle of nowhere and as foreigners we had no choice, and concerned about our safety, and no place to complain No water was provided even though tour description says water is included. Then they tried to sell water package to tourists. There is no English guide, everything is in Spanish although I asked for English guide. The company never answers the phone and even Viator Representative could not reach the vendor via phone. The only way is through email which was not replied. Avoid at all costs and run away from these guys!

Very informative tour - our guide Ramòn was absolutely fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed his encyclopaedic knowledge of Mayan culture and history. Tiring day but absolutely worth it! Would totally recommend this tour to anyone interested in discovering a more authentic side of Mexico - far away from the madding crowd of the zona hotelera. 😊
