Great city overview

We were able to see places we would not likely have seen exploring on our own and certainly not have known the details shared by our guide Billy. Highly recommend as a way to orient yourself to Philly.

The most memorable part? I wish there was any. Tour advertised 8pm departure, yet the bus remained dark, no driver in sight After waiting 15 min, called the phone number to only hear a recording. Waited 30 additional minutes, still no visible sign of life on or around the bus. By this time it felt safer to simply walk back to the hotel. So I paid $38 to walk around a bus parking area that smelled of urine and trash.

When booking, was not told 1/3 of the tour was not available. Also was told by your phone operator to park in the Visitor Center parking garage and the ticket would be validated. Untrue too the time of $22. Stopped for lunch at Reading Terminal Market and have been waiting for an half hour even though there are brown and red buses parked. Tour guide (Dana) was great but very disappointed in the lack of organization and information given prior to booking.

Not a good tour

I purchased my tickets the same day on Saturday 9/4/21 and when I paid for them online there was no disclaimer that the majority of the gold stops would not been seen today . Such as the rocky steps and others due to a concert made in America happening. All I’m saying if a Customer is paying online they should get that disclaimer before purchase so now I paid 72 dollars and didn’t get the full experience. Since over half the stops weren’t seen for 2 people I should have only payed maybe 36-50 dollars not the 72 and didn’t get the full experience. Also a bus never came to stop 20 to pick us up we waited for 5pm to 535 pm and no bus came to pick us up from the stop to take us back to the original start even though the bus driver said the last bus would be there .

Tour guide was boring

As someone who lived in Philadelphia, I already knew a lot about the city, however I thought this would be a good way to teach the kids. The guide we had was not entertaining, and the kids were extremely bored. Missed opportunity:(

Great tour guide and driver. Note: ticket pick up location is NOT in the Visitor's Center as indicated on the reservation, but on the opposite corner (6th and Market).
