This was a bucket list experience for me an the tour did not disappoint. Our guide, John Baptiste, was amazing. Not only is he a wealth of knowledge but he is truly a great person with a personality to match. We saw all the highlights capped by taps at the cemetery at 5. Very moving! A very long day but we’ll worth the effort.

The tour guide was very personable. We enjoyed his company. The trip was fantastic. The beaches of Normandy and the cemetery were emotional and brought home the reality of D-Day. Lunch was good. The times were as advertised. It was a long day but glad we went.

Normandy Day Trip From Paris - OUTSTANDING

Adrien with Blue Fox Tours was the guide for our small group tour (8 max). This is the way to go! He made it such a moving and pleasant day filled with history beyond the text book. He would provide an overview before each stop, allow us some time on our own and then we’d reconvene with a summary and Q&A. As an added bonus, his English is outstanding and he provided the added benefit of insight on local culture. Best value for your time and money!

Ollie (Oliver or Olivie' as you wish) was an outstanding guide. He went above and beyond to ensure an excellent experience. We had an ederly lady with a walker (the info says this isn't a tour for this type of person!)but he accommodated her and kept everyone else happy too. We went 1.5-2 hours longer than usual due to so slower walking but it was still a great tour. Ollie had interesting insights and history about every location. The van ride to and from was great as Ollie answered questions and gave wonderful perspectives about France in general. He was pleasant and friendly all day!

Adrian was an excellent tour guide, friendly and extremely knowledgable -- took the time to explain all of the sites and answer questions. Standing on Omaha Beach was the highlight of the trip. If you have the time for a day trip to Normandy, do not miss out on this.

Seeing the rough terrain and trying to imagine those young soldiers struggling to stay alive and the sacrifices they made was overwhelming. Our guide did an excellent job sharing facts snd anecdotes about a variety of people and related events that made the experience really meaningful.

This is a full day tour that offers sights/history of D-day. It was a great experience with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. Make sure to bring a coat as the coast is windy/cold :). Normandy is about 2-3 hours from Paris and transport is in a nice van (We had 7 other guests with plenty of space per person). We explored multiple different sights and you could go into some of the original bunkers. The American Cemetery is very impressive with beautiful grounds.
