Christine made the artists come alive. We have walked down many of the streets she took without noticing things she pointed out. Very worthwhile.

A fabulous walk through history

Christina made the Left Bank come alive with fabulous stories about the many writers who have lived, worked and died on the small streets of the Left Bank. She was an excellent speaker, with a vast knowledge. She made a tremendous amount of information about the famous men and women of history feel like story telling around the family dinner table - great context, easy to understand and retain. The 3 hours flew by! I appreciated her added insight regarding her personal favorite historic restaurants along the way. It was great to have recommendations since so many of them can rely only on their fame. I loved the small group size (4 of us) and appreciated that Localists didn't cancel the trip because it wasn't full (10 max). If you love literature or even if you just love Paris, this is the trip for you!

Our tour guide was simply amazing! She took us to many great locations within Sainte Germaine and was extremely knowledgeable about the many literary great in Paris as well as the history of France. She catered our tour to keep our teen girls engaged and entertained. We really enjoyed our time with her in Paris. This was one of the best tours we had while in Paris!
