Traveler Tips

  • "Don't come with a full stomach, but also don't come starving as it's a pleasant pace and doesn't dive directly into heavy food, so there were a few folks on our tour who were disappointed in that." See review
  • "Could get quite noisy with all the other tourists walking about.. Would recommend this tour anyone, we walked for about 3 hours, so wear good walking shoes." See review

As someone who always goes on a food tour whenever I first visit a city, this one was one of the best. Emilie did a great job with our tour, including answering a lot of questions and providing recommendations. The food was really good but she also taught us about the culture and landmarks. If you’re new to Paris this is a great option because you get to explore a rich and eclectic area of the city that’s would be hard to explore on your own.

This was a really nice tour of Montmarte. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and all things chocolate, wine and food. We really enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Paris looking to get a feel for Paris's best neighborhood!

Wonderful and unique tour in Montmartre! Places, monuments, history, stories, flavors, ingredients, aromas in a secret recipe… Recipe of Stéphane Planchais! Together with a wonderful group of people from different places, we “walked’’ through Belle epoque, Picasso, Hemingway, Dallida, Amelie… We tasted unique sweets, pastries, wines, food. Journey into the past and the present. We left happier and wiser. Merci beaucoup Stéphane! Eleni - Alkaios Grèce

This tour takes you up into the Westbank (starting near Moulin Rouge). Cobble stone roads and more casual neighborhoods. Our tour guide Stefano was funny and knowledgeable. We had at least 4-5 tastings and a lovely lunch with generous portions of cheese, meats, breads and wine. I passed on the starter - Escargot. It was especially nice walking the streets in this neighborhood. Highly recommend this tour. Gets you out if the big city a bit and into the neighborhoods. We absolutely loved it!

There were so many memorable elements to this experience but above all was our tour guide, Nick. A friendly, fun, and knowledgeable Paris native, he shared information that brought even more life to this amazing area. Nick's food and wine tasting tour is a must (especially if you delight in gourmet tastings along your journey).

Stef was funny, friendly and more than anything an informed and expert guide. I know Paris well and Montmartre too and he showed us all the little places and details that anchor the place in my memory. He showed us the ‘real’ Montmartre and we loved every moment.

Our guide, Nicholas was the best. So much knowledge and a Parisian true and true. Tasting and history completed the tour. Everything we tasted was the best we’d had so far from sweets to wine and cheeses.

Sweet Treat Tour

Emily was a fun and engaging guide who balanced history and personal experience in the area. Meeting spot was well communicated and easy to find. Loved stopping at all the little shops and sampling so many small local treats. Got a bit of a sugar buzz just in time for the wine and charcuterie to balance it out at the end. Don’t eat before you go. The hill is a bit steep but very doable, views of Sacre Coeur stunning.
