Off the Beaten Track: Guided Bike Tour of Paris Local Districts and Stories

My 13-year-old daughter and I had a blast ! I lived in Paris years ago and our tour guide Dan took us to so many new and interesting places, places I’d never seen or ever heard of. In addition, his fun and interesting historical facts made it a great learning experience! The whole team (at the Peleton café meeting place) was nice and helpful. Highly recommend this tour, loved it!

This was a great tour! Easy riding, nice pace, saw some things I never knew about. Riding along the Seine and inside the Louvre courtyard was amazing. Our guide was fantastic. Friendly, warm, and made sure we were safe at some of the more hectic crossings. Highly recommend!

I never write reviews but felt compelled to on this one! If you have only a day or two in Paris do this tour! The tour was excellent and did take us to places off the beaten path! I bought this as a birthday gift for my mom to do on her big day while we were in Paris and she absolutely loved it. Charlie was an excellent guide: knowledgeable, hilarious and all around lovely to be with for 3 hours! Can not recommend this tour enough. You will not be disappointed. And a side note: my family are not huge bike riders (outside of an occasional indoor cycling class) and none of us had any issues.

This tour was great and definitely recommended for seeing the city. It was a low effort ride and with it being on a Saturday morning, traffic was light. We were able to get a lot of the history of the city and see most of the major sites.

Even though it was a hot day we enjoyed our time on this tour. A little exercise but nothing too serious. The lovely young lady who was our tour guide was wonderful. We were in peak season and, at times, riding through the crowds was more than challenging. This was a very enjoyable way to see and learn about the city. Strongly recommend.

I had a lovely experience with Bike About Tours. It was a 2.5-3 hour bike tour of the essential spots in central Paris starting in the Marais and traveling through back roads and interesting pathways to both famous and lesser known areas in the city. The tour was easy and truly suitable for all skill levels. The BAT team was careful to ensure everyone's safety and comfort before and during the ride. The guide, Simon, was a delight. Throughout the trip, he was easygoing and shared facts and funny stories about the history of Paris as well as some of his own experiences living in the city.
