It rained a lot, but was a beautiful city. We were a group of three, my wife and I and a delightful woman from Chicago. It is a long trip from Paris, about 3 hours. We went in a van, our guide, Serge, was excellent. He offered many tips, and answered any questions we had. The beer was outstanding and we had Welsh stew, a perfect dish to combat the lousy weather.

Let’s be clear - this is a review for this TOUR- not Brugge Brugge was beautiful it is truly a fairytale town. This was not a tour we got picked up by Antonio and dropped off in Brugge he did not tell us anything about the history, places and sites to go. I loved Brugge but this is not a tour - this is transpiration from and to and that is it. My suggestion stay a night in Brugge And skip this “tour”

We had a few doubts if we can see it all. A day trip to Bruges from Paris is well worth it. Bruges is a small town so you don't need a lot of time to cover all. We had the best guide, Nicolas, who helped us make the most of it.

Surprisingly enjoyable.

I usually don’t care for tours as it consumes too much of your time. But this was enjoyable. I got to see the city. What they don’t mention is to make sure you have your passport Incase Belgium border patrol stops you. So bring it with you. It is about 15 degrees colder than Paris. So make sure to bundle up. The food mehhhh as I’m a foodie it wasn’t that great in Belgium. But the waffles and hot chocolate to die for. If I didn’t need salty food that’s all I would Eat. The tour comes with a boat ride in Belgium. Takes approx 30 minutes gives you an overview of the city. And I went right when they were putting up the Christmas decorations. A bit too early. The area to go to at 7 am there is a cafe shop around the corner. So I packed up with food and water as our first stop is approx 1.5 hours into the drive and it’s gas station food. So make sure you get some substance in you before you go. Unless you’re ant typical Starbucks food or vending machine. Which is why would you if your in Paris. I am a total foodie and that’s the last think I want.

To start off, I have to say that Serge, our guide was born to be a tour guide. Our trip to Brugge was the most wonderful tour we had in our week in Paris! Brugge is such a historic place, and Serge knows the city inside and out. I encourage anyone and everyone to go! And ask for Serge!
