Head over to the Hawaii Theatre on Bethel Street in Honolulu’s Chinatown to meet your small group. Your group will be 12 people or less, so you’ll get more attention  from your guide and be able to ask all of your got-to-know questions.

Get ready to hear some racy stories about WWII sailors and the way they enjoyed spending their time when they were off duty during this 1-mile (1.6-km) walk. From brothels to bars to tattoo parlors and strip clubs, there was always some sort of trouble for them to get into.

Walk around Maunakea Market Place, and visit the locations of former WWI-era brothels. Stop at bars, such as Smith's Union Bar, and see where the men of WWI liked to sip on their favorite alcoholic beverages. Then, pass Old Ironside Tattoo and Club Hubba Hubba, key places of the WWI red-light district.

This tour is a must do if you're interested in hearing and seeing a part of the war effort that is rarely if ever discussed. Carter does a terrific job of sharing the inside info of this very important district during a critical time of history. This tour and Carter do not disappoint...loved both! Can't wait to experience Carter's Bubonic Plaque tour!
