Great experience. The Chief was extremely entertaining and the dances were remarkable! The food was unbelievably tasty. They served the best Mai Tis on the island. One of the best luaus we have been to!

the show was great! The wind was horrible! it blew everything off our tables, knocked over cups etc. They should have a more covered location for bad weather.

Unforgettable experience of culture and entertainment

From start to finish, Chief’s Luau was full of entertainment. The staff were amazing and the show itself was filled with different activities. The Chief had such a wonderful sense of humor and was also educational. This was definitely one of the most memorable experiences in my trip to Hawaii. One that everyone must experience while they are here. I would 100% recommend to family and friends. I am one of those people who are not easily impressed, but man, this Luau blew me away. You will not be disappointed!

Meh - something to do

It was something to check off the list, but not worth $280 bucks. They were the only luau open during covid so we had to do it. Chief was funny with his sarcastic humor and the show was okay. You learn a lot about the Polynesian culture. The parking fee is not $6 dollars, but $7 and Viator hasn’t updated that on the ticket and details yet. I guess this isn’t a feee that they can collect online. Feels silly to pay so much and still have to dish out $7 bucks to park as there is nowhere else to park around the area. If you are a pescatarian or vegetarian it would be nice to have more food options. We don’t eat meat the the fish that was provided was NOT recognizable. None of the meats on our plates are part of a pescatarian (fish) diet. For the cost it wasn’t worth it. Drinks are okay. You get two drink tickets per person. Once those drink tickets are gone it around $12 bucks per drink and they accept card. Social distancing was great and I felt safe. Total experience was a lil over two hours.
