Return Details

Returns to original departure point
Begin with pickup at select Waikiki hotels at your chosen departure time (morning or afternoon). Climb into the tour vehicle for the brief ride to the Ko Olina Marina and Resort, where you check in on the dock and munch on some provided snack and sip tea, water, and coffee.

Meet your captain as you step aboard the 53-foot (16-meter) catamaran and set out for your day's first stop. As you cruise, you can relax on deck and watch the Hawaiian scenery pass by or explore the boat. The catamaran is fully equipped with a fully stocked bar, a teak interior, and freshwater showers. There is plenty of room for 40 passengers to spread out and get comfortable.

Once you reach your first destination, get fitted for a mask and snorkel and jump into the water, a known habitat for the local spinner dolphins. Float around the coral reef in search of native marine life. Upgrade with a SNUBA excursion, a technique that is a combination of snorkeling and scuba diving.

After two reef visits, dig into a Hawaiian-style lunch of soy-veggie burgers, chicken teriyaki, and pulled pork sandwiches. Guests over age 21 can sip a cocktail or two along with lunch.

As the boat heads back to shore, enjoy the scenery, soak up some sun, or head below deck for a freshwater shower. Once you return to land, get dropped off back at your Waikiki hotel.

Amazing Snorkel and Sailing Trip!
George_S
, Nov 2020
The crew was FANTASTIC! We had a great time on the catamaran and the snorkeling equipment was higher end with a blowback valve so it made snorkeling easy. There were at least a dozen different types of fish and hundreds of them swimming around us at both the locations. We were a little hesitant on sharing snorkeling gear during Covid but the captain assured us they sanitized and cleaned everything really well beforehand and we’re willing to work with us to address any of our concerns once on the boat. They didn’t overcrowd the trip and we had plenty of room to keep distance from others above deck throughout the trip. Highly recommended!

Crew was wonderful and we saw some a lot of beautiful fish on first dive! Not crazy about location as it’s in front of the Diesel plant and you can hear the traffic going by. Apparently the fish like the warm weather there. Water was beautiful as always

Lots of Time OUT of the water

I wanted to love this but with 90 minutes spent getting from my hotel and the same getting back to my hotel - two ~ 30 minute snorkeling sessions required a 10:30 am - 5:30 pm day. I signed up for the morning session but was told it was cancelled due to small numbers. I opted for the afternoon and got a ton of people instead! I spent $75 to upgrade to SNUBA but was told that just included one of the two sessions- very disappointing. We saw dolphins on the way out which was nice but seemed just a way to kill time. The water was murky so it was hard to see much unless one was doing SNUBA or feeding fish. The second location was really murky. We were given a snack of a cheese cracker and granola bar before we left, there was no tea or coffee as listed. The food served on the boat was really good, but there were no veggie burgers as listed. There were three free drink tickets - great perhaps for a drinker - wasted otherwise. Unfortunately the 30-90 minutes of snorkeling consumed an entire day. The cost is too much for what you get.

Excellent trip except that we did not see many fish, any turtles or dolphins. The crew was super, the Captain was top shelf, the boat was clean and spacious with not too many guests to bump in to. Would sail again with this crew!!

Fun morning SNUBA off the Ko Olina coast

A wonderful morning out on the 50' catamaran with a bunch of other people. Everyone was fun and the sail to our snorkeling destination was easy and relaxing. Once at our first snorkeling spot everyone got in the water and we were able to see lots of seal life. We opted for the 'SNUBA' vs the snorkeling package and were able to get down to 20 feet while tethered to our air supply. Its much more fun than simply snorkeling around the surface. Moray, ells, many types of colorful fish, sea turtle were all to be seen on this trip. Drinks, and lunch were provided and the crew were all fun and helpful. We both enjoyed ourselves and we would highly recommend this trip to anyone.

Excellent snorkeling/sailing/lunch

We thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. The catamaran was made for 40ish people but since we came at the start of off season there were 12 of us on board. This allowed for more time with the guides who went out at sea with us to look for wild life on the water. We saw different types of fish and even a few turtles. Lunch was delish. Teriyaki chicken or pulled pork to make sandwiches with and sides. Soft drinks were unlimited and alcoholic drinks were included per adult ticket (3 each). The captain and crew were very knowledgeable and accommodating. I'd highly recommend this tour.
