If you're looking for a relaxing stroll in beautiful surroundings, I would greatly recommend this activity. We had perfect weather, sunny and breezy, a friendly and engaging guide, and horses with unique personalities. While I'm not an experienced rider, I came away with an appreciation for the paniolos. Quaint operations. Access to yummy shrimp trucks in the neighborhood for snack or lunch too. Hope others will enjoy.

First time horse riding

This was my first time riding and I enjoyed most of it. The place was clean and very nicely organized. Quick preparation and away we go. Riding any other horse except the one I got could have made this experience perfect for me. The one I got was big and old and after half the riding time he decided that he had had enough and prefered to spend his time stopping to eat leaves and weeds. The leader of the group kept asking me to kick him each time to get him to stay with the group. This was not easy for me on my first ride. My last 20 minutes of this riding was continuously struggling with the horse and wishing it all could end. Please consider having Winston ( the horse) take an early retirement.

Aloha, Mahalo for taking the time to leave a review. We appreciate the feedback so much. As I spoke with our wrangler she said Winston was having an off day. Normally he is our easy-going big guy. We apologize for the less than 5-star experience. We do our best to mitigate these circumstances and will continue to be aware. Mahalo again for riding with us.
