Return Details

Returns to original departure point
Your tour begins in the middle of Moab where you’ll meet your guide, and board the comfortable 4WD vehicle for the 5-mile (8-km) drive to the park. Once inside Arches National Park, your off-roading adventure begins when you leave the road by Doc Williams Point.

More than 2,000 giant sandstone arches are scattered throughout the park, which is the largest collection of naturally occurring arches found anywhere in the world. You’ll also find pinnacles, fins, and rocks along this epic landscape of rich red earth sculpted by time.

If some of this landscape looks familiar, it’s probably because you’ve seen it in the movies. Popular films like Thelma and Louise were shot in portions of the park, as were scenes for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

If you choose the evening tour, there’s a chance you could see a fiery sunset illuminate the red rocks. Once the sun is below the horizon, stars sparkle in one of the darkest skies in the country.

Towards the end of the tour, you’ll leave the park via an old cowboy trail. It’s here where you’ll stop to see fossilized dinosaur tracks stamped into the earth.

Finally, after several hours of backcountry exploring in the southern Utah terrain, your tour finishes in the center of Moab from the same spot where it began.

Hidden beauty

We loved seeing the hidden beauty of the park. This tour took us to places we wouldn’t have seen by just visiting the park. The kids loved the off road rock crawling.

Adam was AWESOME! We definitely had a true behind the scenes view at beautiful Arches National Park. We learned some cool stuff, but never felt like we were being lectured. The drive was just bumpy and scary enough that our teen boys found it cool :)
Access to stunningly beautiful sites in Arches National Park

Rick was a terrific guide into Arches National Park. He was knowledgable about history, geography, and the park sites. I had no idea we were going to be driving on rocks, but as he turned onto a tiny "technical 4WD" road, he masterfully took us to places we would never have been able to access. This was a memorable trip of a lifetime!
Would do it again in a heartbeat.

The best part of your was the off-road freedom of being able to see parts of the park most other visitors will not. Our driver was fantastic and the rough terrain rock climbing ability of our vehicle and driver.

Back country exploration

Michael and Adam were a great team. Funny and very knowledgeable. Michael took us to places we could have never accessed on our own. We had a lot of fun on the back road trails, very rough terrain, but no problem for the Toyota Land Cruiser‘s.
Fun and informative!
