Must See, Unique Location, Great Tour Guide
CAMILLEGOMEZ
, May 2022
Teodihuacan is a must-see location while in Mexico City. The trip was well organized so you really don't to do anything except show up with some good walking shoes and sunblock! Ulises (Warrior) was our affable, passionate, and friendly guide. The ticket fee includes all travel to and from the ruins (quite a distance, and very remote, so not something you want to organize on your own), as well as your entry ticket. It was convenient and safe, and I went solo along with a number of other travelers from Europe, USA, and South America.
Would do again if friends or family were in town with me next time. Felt the pricing was very reasonable! Wear a hat if you get sunburnt easily, there is absoutely no shade anywhere.

Fascinating & Fun Tour of Teotihuacan

Wonderful tour! Ulysses, our tour guide, was engaging, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable about the history of Teotihuacan and Mexican history in general. He offered many memorable historical stories and anecdotes. It was a small group, so we had the opportunity to discuss and ask questions. I would highly recommend this tour!
Plan on riding the public bus

The tour and guide were very informative and interesting. I have no complaints about that.
The transportation to and from really made this not worth it. Riding the bus to the bus station, waiting for the greyhound-like public bus for an hour and a half was just not great. The way back was worse - the bus didn't have air conditioning, people were standing in the aisles and there was no way to open the windows - it was stifling.
I was expecting a van to take us there and back. This is not the case. I would not do this tour again based on the transportation alone.
Thank you!

Had a great day on this tour! Elias was a fantastic guide and made the trip a great experience. Also appreciated that the tour just involved going to Teotihuacan and learning about the archaeological site, without being forced to stop at stores for souvenirs or funneled through gift shops. All in all an excellent experience -- thanks Elias!
Elias is the best guide I've ever had.

Elias was the best guide I've had yet. With near perfect English and a degree in history, he takes you through time and place in this incredible site. With updated interpretations and a a blunt , but generous review of previous interpretations. And he's a personable young man. A group of us went out for dinner afterwards with him. A wonderful way to end a great day. Cheers brother , for a wicked day.
Great Tour!

Majestic, Mystical & FUN - Must Do!!!
Robert_S
, Nov 2021
Teotihuacan is such a majestic place that words can barely describe the experience. But then adding Javier, our small group tour guide, made the experience so much more enriching and enjoyable.
Javier, was a wealth of information, with much care and pride for his beautiful cultural history. His passion was infectious. You could just follow along the tour, or you could take advantage of asking any and every question you may have, as Javier was happy and kind enough to indulge our fascination & curiosity.
Just a wonderful guy to be with, so much so that we stuck to him like puppy dogs, as he proceeded to lead a walking history tour at Xocolo immediately after our Teotihuacan tour!!!
We perform checks on reviews
You can only submit a review or rating of an experience to Viator if you were the person who made the booking through Viator. Before publication, each review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information for each of the following criteria: who, what, how, and when. If the system detects something that contradicts our publication criteria, the review is not published. When the system detects a problem with a review, it may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site. In some cases, we will also send you an email asking you to validate your review before it is published. All you need to do is click on the link provided in the email. After publication, our team checks each review reported to it as not meeting our publication criteria. Tripadvisor reviews that appear on the Viator site are subject to the same checks and moderation processes as set out above. It is not necessary to have booked an experience through Viator (or Tripadvisor) to submit a review of an experience to the Tripadvisor site.

Sorting, ranking, and search results
Viator wants to make your searches as relevant as possible. That’s why we offer many ways to help you find the right experiences for you.
On some pages, you can select how to sort the results we display and also use filter options to see only those search results that meet your chosen preferences. You’ll see explanations of what those sort options mean when you select them.
You’ll see some experiences with a “Promoted” badge, which means that the operators of those experiences have agreed to pay Viator more to have their experience highlighted.
If you see an Experience Award Winner label, the award is based on average review ratings, share of bookings with a review, and number of bookings through Viator over a 12-month period.
The importance of any one factor over any other in a sort order varies, and the balance is constantly being reviewed and adjusted. We’re always updating our systems and testing new ways to refine and improve your results to make them as relevant as possible to meet your needs.
