Sun Studio Admission Ticket with Guided Tour

We wanted a quick get away before Christmas and this was highly recommended. My husband was in awe as he listened being that his profession is music education. Mark was a great tour guide and I realized I had left my wallet at the hotel and promised him we would bring back a tip for him the following day. Of course he said no need, that is nice of you, but I stood firm on we would be back. My husband said when he ran the money in the next day Mark seemed beyond surprised we came back and was sooooo appreciative of it. He deserved a tip!!!. The only thing I would like to tell people is if you go online to book through one of their 3rd parties, it makes it look like the only time available is at 10am. That is when they open their doors, that is not the only time of tours like we thought. Finally I called and they clarified and told me I could come in at a different time. FYI they do book up quickly, so don't arrive 5 minutes before a tour and expect you will get in on that tour. With Covid they have to limit the amount of people which means they book up faster.

Wonderful tour, everything in the studio is original. The guide is a great storyteller and hilarious.

Wow... such wonderful experience! A must do when in Memphis. Our guide was so upbeat and knowledgeable and the gift shop was very well stocked with cool items.

I was unable to go as I am visiting Memphis from Arizona and they said mobile tickets were not accepted..I then requested to cancel and was told I would get no refund and after checking my account they have charged 3 tickets.. I am disgusted and want all money refunded immediately..

Our guide was very knowledgeable. The studio was like a step back in time. We could actually handle one of the original microphones.

We were not kindly greeted upon arrival; the girl at the desk in fact was disappointing. We thought our tour began at 10am; so we arrived right at 10am; they would not unlock the doors or take us on our tour a minute before 1030am (we were the only three in the studio) and they greeted us with "put your mask on and cover your nose" before "good morning, how are you and thank you for coming." -- Sorry, but we are southern-grace conscientious and that did not sit well... and then they work for tips. The tour was 'okay.' Elvis and the others deserve better representation. I'd skip this one and read about it online; you'd probably enjoy it more - and avoid the rude little girl at the desk. There is a good book called "manners 101" -- check it out honey.

Great tour but paid $25 to Viator and actual tour on site was $14. Note: Free Parking behind the building.

Tour was great. But we were told we booked a 10 am tour by Viator but tours start at 10:30 and go every 30 min.

My wife and I toured the Studio and had a wonderful time. There is a very comfortable mix of time left alone to view the exhibits on your own, and time when the Guide spoke and taught the group about the history and details of the studio since its inception.

What a wonderful experience, I was there Monday for the 10:30 tour, our tour guide she was amazing !! Will carry this with me forever ❤️🤗
