Prado Museum and Reina Sofia museums

I just want to shout out to Steph on an excellent tour of both these museums. I was the only English speaking visitor. She took it upon herself to get a wheelchair for both locations. Her English was impeccable and her knowledge of the subject matter was excellent. I talked with her about Figueres about Dali's museum there. She can look at my Facebook page. My user name is my first name backwards and my last name backwards. I highly recommend this tour for future visitors.

This company cancelled at the last minute, after a confirmed booking. How can I recommend them? By the way, a guide is not necessary.

Our tour guide, Belen was wonderful! She has incredible knowledge of the paintings and the artists. We did both El Prado and Reina Sofia. Seeing Las Meninas, The Garden of Earthly Delights and Guernica was an experience I’ll never forget. I would gladly do this tour again.

Good tour

The tour guide was very knowledgeable and explained everything very clearly. Being a bilingual tour, it required too much time to describe the art pieces. These tours should be in only one language so time is used more efficiently.

Horrible Tour

This tour is done in both Spanish and English therefore when you think you are getting a 2 hour tour, it is only 1 hour. Then it took about 15 minutes to get our Audiio, so not it is down to 45 minutes, and then the guide spent 30 minutes on the 3 panel piece. We returned our audio, left the tour and viewed what we wanted on our own. Oh and by the way, it is not skip the line by any means. Horrible, horrible, horrible tour and waste of money. My husband and I left and noticed that we were not the only ones that left. DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR!!!!

Informative tour at a good pace

I had been to both of these museums before and didn't realize how much I was missing. Having a knowledgeable guide provide background and context made for a rich and unforgettable experience. Our guide, Tamara, kept pace really well, even with it being a bilingual tour, and her English was impeccable. If you're thinking of seeing these museums, you can enrich your experience with this great tour.

Prado and Reina Sofia

We enjoy doing a guided tour of museums so that you can hit the highlights and not wander around needlessly. Our guide Paola was excellent--we were amazed at how knowledgeable she was about all of the art and she went back and forth between English and Spanish effortlessly. My favorite painting at Prado was The Garden of Earthly Delights by Bosch (so much going on and Paola did a great job of explaining it) and at the Reina Sofia it was Guernica. We had a little bit of trouble finding the meeting location. The instructions said to the right of the museum entrance, which is correct, but you have to walk back a ways to find the meeting point.
