Terrible tour operator VPT Tours

This tour had been confirmed, but when we arrived at the meeting place, we first were told that the palace visit was not available. (We later passed by the palace and saw lines of people going in). When I asked if we could get a refund for the missed portion, he then came back to tell us that our booking had been cancelled and refunded. This was NOT true. They refused to let us join the tour and asked us to contact Viator. We were disappointed and annoyed. We are now waiting for our full refund.

I was very disappointed with this tour. Despite being asked to meet so early, the tour didn't get underway until 2 1/2 hours later. The guide commented in both Spanish and English. Not good. As for being a Panoramic tour, it was hard to see well from this coach. A hop-on hop-off would be better

Overall this tour was good. The bus tour around the city was informing and we liked the stops along the way to take pictures. We like the bull fighting arena. We returned after the tour to visit the areas we saw on the bus tour, so that was helpful. What we really enjoyed was the royal palace tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable on the palace. We got little nuggets of information about particular rooms that you wouldn't have found out any other way. Also, make time to see the armory on the palace grounds.

It was difficult to understand our tour guide on the bus, even though she spoke English. The ride was probably too long and it was loud. It was not easy to see the sights from the bus, but it was nice to stop and see the bullring and walk around a bit.
