This tour was the perfect way to reach these historic sites outside Madrid. The group size was ideal. Our guide, Jose, was knowledgeable and friendly. He was always willing to answer questions and share information. We highly recommend this tour.

My suggestion is that tour should be in either English or Spanish but not both because there is so much information that we were running out of time because the guide had to explain in both languages. It takes a while.

This is an excellent trip. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the sites, and his English was great. The bus was comfortable and is a lot more convenient that trying to get to the sites on your own. Would recommend, and glad we did it.

We added this site-seeing trip late in our planning and I'm so glad we did! El Escorial and the Valley of the Fallen should not be missed by anyone with an interest in Spanish history and/or amazing architecture! This group bus tour was extremely user friendly, the bus was comfortable and the guide (Alfredo) was outstanding! Alfredo was very well versed in Spanish history, able to clearly provide background information to the sites themselves, but also able to field various questions from the group. He was able to effortlessly alternate between Spanish and English and led the tour in an organized and professional manner. I was very impressed and so thankful that we chose to take this tour. I can highly recommend this outing!

The two sights and the guide were very good. It is an hour bus ride each way, but, in the end, well worth it.

Amazing sites

We really enjoyed both sites as they were quite beautiful and full of history. The cathedral in the mountain and how it was built was amazing. Very glad we made the trek! Only downfall was that our guide let us fend for ourselves for lunch not knowing where the restaurants were. Some were quite far and no time to get there and back!
