This activity will end right where it started.If you're a cruise ship passenger, the directions for meeting point will be: Once you arrive at the dock walk to the cruise ship terminal, cross it, and you will be in Plaza Gali parking lot just in front of Sandos Finisterra hotel, on the exit of the parking lot there is an Oxxo (convenience store) we can meet you there. We do offer pickup in San José del Cabo, Cabo San Lucas, and the corridor, we do not provide pickup for hotels outside of the touristic area (Pacific side) like Hard Rock, Diamante, Nobu that are 30-40 min away from Cabo San Lucas area or East Cape area that are 30-40 min away from San José del Cabo area like Four seasons, for those hotels we set a meeting point. Same with Airbnb, if Airbnb is in the tourist area, we do offer pickup. If Airbnb is outside of the tourist area, we set a meeting point.

Must do adventure in the heart of Cabo

This turned out to be a highlight of our trip and would encourage the adventurer to take advantage of this opportunity. It is a very secluded and privately owned area. Carlos our guide was very knowledgeable of the area and catered the hike to our abilities for a party of 6. If you are just going to the waterfall, it is a very short hike but a steep down hill to get to the water. It is dry and hot on the trail but Carlos had plenty of water for us. The water is cool and refreshing. The taco lunch was incredibly good and a mango margarita topped it off.

Request Carlos Michaud for the ultimate local and adventurous experience. His knowledge of the area’s plant life, history, and culture will allow you to walk away with not only burnt calories but a better understanding of the area. His youthful energy will keep you going and his knowledge of foot placement and support will keep you safe. He will create an experience based on whatever you desire which for us meant going further into the canyon and a more strenuous hike. Then to cap it off you have lunch at a locally sourced family ran taco eatery called Los Agaves which has absolutely delicious and authentic tacos. This a 10/10 would recommend experience!

We had a blast on this trip into the mountains and the beautiful fresh-water streams, not to mention a spectacular 50-ft waterfall. Great swimming, great scenery. You can only take so much beach time and this was a very worthwhile and memorable experience. Our guide Carlos (Spartan) was awesome and took great care to make sure we had fun. Also, the restaurant where we stopped afterwards for lunch had excellent tacos and drinks. This trip is highly recommended.

Favorite activity of the stay in Cabo and highly recommend to anyone. They provide an excellent service of pick up at the hotel, too. Totally worth the money. Note the hike level says moderate but in some places, it was steep or rocky. Take your time if you need it; hike guide Carlos was careful to ensure everyone was safely traversing the rocky parts. The group was small with a lovely couple from IA with similar hiking skill level, so we were able to stay together and cover a lot of ground as a group so that we had a leisurely lunch afterward in a tiny taqueria in the tiny town of Miraflores; it was the best food of the trip.

Exactly What We Wanted!

We were fortunate enough to book our hiking on a slow Sunday and had the tour all to ourselves. Our guide, Carlos (aka “Spartan”), was amazing. He assessed our fitness level and took us on a route that appropriately challenged us (the way we wanted to be challenged). Carlos shared information about the terrain and the vegetation along the way, and we felt as if we were hanging out with a local friend. He’s fluent in English, so there were no communication issues (since we embarrassingly only speak Sesame Street-level Spanish). We enjoyed fish tacos and margaritas for lunch in a welcoming small town restaurant and stopped at the Tropic of Cancer on our way back to the hotel. Best tour experience we’ve had in all of our trips to Mexico. Ask for Carlos. He’s knowledgeable, charming, and socially intelligent.

Swimming in the pools of the waterfalls was super fun!! Big shout out to our guide, Luis!! He was right on time to pick us up. He was so helpful to us on the hike (he was always there with a helping hand when we were climbing over boulders or crossing streams). He also went above and beyond the call of duty by driving all the way back to our hotel to return the bag of clothes I had left in the van (even after he reminded us to gather up all our things!!)!! Thank you, Luis!!!

Our tour was on June 1. Our tour guide Pepe was the best! Seriously, he was on time picking us up, friendly to talk to, and we felt like we were good friends by the time the tour was over. He was courteous, knowledgeable of the area and lead us on an amazing trail, telling us about the land and pointing out interesting objects along the way. My boyfriend accidentally slipped on a rock and scrapped his arm, Pepe administered ointment from a tree along the way that honestly helped to heal the wound. Pepe brought an umbrella so we had shade while we ate snacks he brought, and swam in the oasis. He was conscious of bathroom breaks, gave us water when needed, and took us to a great place for an authentic Mexican lunch, he even offered to take us to an ice cream place which we could not pass up. We stopped at the Tropic of Cancer which was also cool. Pepe offered to take pictures of us at various places which was appreciated without us asking. It was a long day, but one that we were so happy we decided to venture on. If your in good shape and love the outdoors, don't pass this up. It's top notch.

Pepe was an amazing guide. The trails were beautiful and waterfalls were chilly but refreshing. We were lucky to be the only people on the tours so it was truly to our fitness level. The food after was wonderful!

Beautiful drive from Cabo and the hike was incredible. We had a very knowledgable guide. We enjoyed our dip in the water near the waterfall, but it was quite chilly. Definitely a nice way to cool off from the hike. We had a wonderful lunch on our way back to our resort and enjoyed every second of the day. This is a great outing for couples, families and friends. I wouldn't recommend it for young children as there are some areas on the hike that could be difficult for them. I highly recommend Hide Tide touring company and we look forward to booking other excursions with them in the future.
