This was a very great fun experience for me and my boyfriend. Are tour guide Harris was very knowledgeable about Hollywood!! He even answered different questions we asked and knew the answer. The tourists was very caring and patient. We had a lot of fun. Take plenty of water and wear a hat if your able. It does get warm and not a lot of shaded areas

First time hiking and In LA

It was a nice time going hiking, even though we didn’t make it all the way to the top. Do not try hiking in 95 degree weather. Bad idea lol, but it was amazing time and the views was beautiful. Eric M, was a great leader.

Eric M. was a really good tour guide. He offered us water when we didn’t have it. He was very knowledgeable on the history of Griffith Park and the Hollywood sign. And he even suggested some good places for my pup and I to go hiking.

I arrived 2 hours early at the Greek theater which has two sides to enter, there was no viator sign or representative to guide all of us that paid to come sign the form and be in the right place. ended up hiking on my own. I do not recommend this group there are many others more organized

Not Good

Communication/customer service was horrible. They list all of these rules and what ifs. But if you call ahead as stated on their policy they don’t answer the phone. And the tour guide was late to the location. I even asked to get the next tour but they stated it couldn’t happen which was stated on their website. They have a lot false advertising and of course, I couldn’t get my money back. Will never book with them again!

Enjoyable Hike

We booked the hike through Trip Advisor. They book in small groups of 8 or so. We booked the 2pm hike, it was about 2.30 hour hike and the visit to the observatory. Our guide, Elizabeth, was excellent. Very Knowledgeable not only of the park history but the surrounding LA and made it an enjoyable climb. It is steep in some parts. Depending on the weather which was a beautiful day but make sure that you have a good runner. After the observatory, we had a lovely dinner at ‘Toms’ which was close by and a great pick by Elizabeth. For walkers and hikers it is s must see.

I had fun on this guided tour because the hike was easy to navigate with some incredible views, got to chat with two awesome guides (Tony and Jonno) about the history of Hollywood. For your first time in LA, I recommend this tour.

Thank you Kerttu(Kate) for being an excellent hike guide and storyteller. I enjoyed the Griffith Park story and learned a lot. The hike was awesome, challenging and worth every step up to see the panoramic view of Los Angeles. I loved Kate’s positive upbeat spirit and her sincere encouragement too. Appreciate your patience and picture taking.
