The Bloody Sunday Story - Private Walking Tour

A unique opportunity to hear about the events and long term consequences of Bloody Sunday from the perspective of an eight year old boy whose big brother lost his life there. John has spent a great deal of his life since then seeking the truth and shares his story with grace and good humour.

I have to say myself and my wife went on this tour last Friday and were so empresed with it . We have done a few tours in the north of ireland in the last couple of years to get to grips with the real stories behind our history and this was by far the must enlightening of them all. Our guide John was so knowable on the story as his older brother was killed on the day in question. His story was a horrific one of his own families loss and the loss of other families he knows. And the ongoing fight on their hands to get justice for their lost family members. He was so friendly and outgoing answered all our questions and enlightened us on the bloody Sunday story and so much more about the derry and bogside history. It was an honor to have met him and listened to his story.
