Rebels, Radicals and Rough Justice: Clerkenwell Audio Tour by VoiceMap

Can't fault this tour in terms of content and narration for anyone interested in Clerkenwell. The guide did well to point out sites that were interesting but might well have been passed without notice. The tour was easy to download to our Apple and Android mobiles though my Apple phone was not always completely in step with my husband's Android mobile when on the tour; I often needed to walk a couple more yards to reach the starting point for the commentary to kick in. Keep an eye on the icon at the top of the screen telling you how far to walk to next point of interest. Also suggest you don't pause the tour when stopping as often, on resumption, the tour would tell me I was lost which meant I had to switch off and back on again. The guide's narration was clear and informative with not too much information at each stop. Strongly suggest you use headphones otherwise difficult to hear above traffic noise. We were a group of 6 huddled around 2 mobiles on speaker mode and those who couldn't hear lost interest. To avoid this, if you must walk using phone in speaker mode then no more than 2 people per phone.
