Royal London Morning Sightseeing Tour with Changing of the Guard (3.5 hours)

After morning pickup from Victoria Coach Station, start your coach tour with a drive to Kensington Palace, the former residence of Diana, Princess of Wales. Don your state-of-the-art Vox headphones and hear every word of commentary clearly as you guide reveals the stories of each site.

Look for the Royal Albert Hall, the stage of many world-famous concerts, and see the extravagant Albert Memorial, commissioned by Queen Victoria in honor of her late husband, Prince Albert. See Whitehall and Downing Street, the base of the British Prime Minister; and view landmark sights including Trafalgar Square, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey — the latter where Prince William and Kate Middleton were married in 2011.

Next, head past St James’s Park to Buckingham Palace to see the Changing of the Guard. Watch in delight as the Queen’s Foot Guard, dressed in pillar box-red tunics and bearskin helmets, exchange duties to music from a military band. Hear about the ceremony’s history, and capture the color and pageantry on camera.

Your tour then concludes in Trafalgar Square.

Afternoon Independent Stonehenge Trip from London with Audio Tour (5.5 to 6 hours)

Settle into your comfortable, air-conditioned coach, and venture out of London to UNESCO-listed Stonehenge, the prehistoric stone circle on Wiltshire’s Salisbury Plain. Dating back more than 4,500 years, this ancient monument is incredibly well preserved for its age, and believed by many scholars to have served as a temple aligned to the movements of the sun.

On arrival, set off on an independent, audio tour. Collect your audio-guide, and enjoy around an hour at the site. Gaze up at the colossal stones as you stroll around the perimeter of the monument, and hear the theories as to how they were transported here. Then, explore the impressive visitor center to learn more through the fascinating archaeological and audio-visual displays.

Afterward, ride back to Victoria, where your tour finishes.
Stop At:
Travel back over 5,000 years time to Neolithic Britain and explore the ancient ruins of the world's best-known prehistoric monument. Enjoy a 2 hour stay to explore the site at your own pace as you step inside the reconstructed Neolithic houses, furnished with replica axes, pottery and other functional items. Inside the world-class visitor exhibition centre, come face-to-face with a 5,500-year-old man and discover over 250 archaeological objects on display, including jewellery and even human remains. Admire the impressive megaliths and Sarsen stones of the ancient Stone Circle, some of which stand over 9 metres (30 feet) tall and weigh more than 25 tons. Along the landscape of the Salisbury Plain, you'll see hundreds of barrows that stretch out into the Horizon. Find out why these barrows exist, and answer other important questions along the way such as 'who made Stonehenge' and 'how was Stonehenge built'?

This was a phenomenal tour and great value for our money! We saw so much for such a cost effective price. The check in process at the Victoria Coach Station was not very well organized and it was confusing to figure out which coach you had to board. The process can be improved and made more customer friendly. But the value of the tour far exceeded these short comings. the tour guide Trevor was excellent and very knowledgeable and really was dedicated to his job. I will definitely come back and do more tours with Viator globally in the future and will strongly recommend to anyone!

The Royal London Sightseeing tour was great. The guide really knew his stuff and was entertaining while giving us the information on the sights we were seeing. He knew where to go for the best views and had a cheerful attitude. He also made sure we met up with the second part of the tour for Stonehenge. The Stonehenge part did not start off well. We spent an hour and a half picking up people from 2 locations. We spent over a half an hour picking up 2 ladies from in front of a casino. Once on our way, the trip improved. We thoroughly enjoyed Stonehenge. It was not very busy in the afternoon, but since we spent so much time picking up, our time in Stonehenge was shortened. Stonehenge is must see if you are in London.

The tour guide was great in the morning for the tour of London! However, Evans Evans was completely unorganized and had no idea where to send us for the proper tour! Then the Stonehenge tour was a mess. We were not provided an audio tour or map or enough time to enjoy the trip. Not impressed.

Don't do this tour. Extremely unorganized, buses smelled bad. We had to figure out how to get from the morning tour to the afternoon tour to Stonehenge. Bus driver to Stonehenge made no announcements as to where he was dropping off etc. Bus driver didn't have enough tickets into Stonehenge and gave us child's tickets. We were let in anyway but really poor service the whole time, and this was 10 hour tour awful!!!

Great tour! Did the morning London bus tour and it was great. I forgot now our MC for the tour but she was amazing. A lot of knowledge and really felt like I learned a lot about the city. The changing of the guard as well was really cool. I enjoyed how we experienced it. The Stonehenge tour was quite nice as well. The bus ride out there was pretty long, but the bus driver was great. We had 2 hours at the site. I think this could extend out another 30 mins due to the exhibition there we could get access to. I liked the fact we had the little radio things with us to give us the audio tour. I wish we had earphones though as holding up with your hands made your hands cooooooooold. : Overall, pretty great trip!

It was a wonderful tour. The first half was well done and we really enjoyed it. The Stonehenge portion was outstanding. It was wonderful to visit Stonehenge. So glad we took the time to do it. Wish we had more time in London to see some of the other sights. In addition, the bus driver Michael Angelo did an excellent job.

The AM part of the tour I DO NOT recommend. The tour guide was awful. She spoke bare minimum information and she repeated the same sentences over and over. If you know where to stand you are MUCH Better off just going on your own. We were fairly far away and although the tour guide offered us to go where we wish, by the time we arrived any good places were gone and since the ceremony had already begun, we could not go closer anyway. It was a disappointment really. Before the ceremony we went to one other place to have a quick look around but again, the information was minimal and repeated many times. PM, the driver for the bus was great. He took a different route back to the city once he heard there was an issue on the highway we took out of the city. He was courteous and efficient. The drive there is a bit tedious and the wifi only worked intermittently but it is a great way to see some English countryside if your entire trip was planned for London. For our family, Stonehenge was a MUST, so we were very happy and the self guided tour was great.
