Your evening tour begins at a central meeting point, where you board a vintage double-decker bus and take off through the city’s darkened streets.

Pass Westminster Abbey and the Banqueting House at Whitehall, the execution site of King Charles I in 1649. Immerse yourself in the tales of execution etiquette in the 17th century, when beheading was the favored act. Learn of skilled executioners and the spectacle that would unravel during bloody public executions at Tower Hill. Then zip past Old Bailey—site of public hangings in the 19th century—and Fleet Street to see where the barber Sweeney Todd gruesomely butchered clients and packed them into meat pies to be guzzled by local patrons.

Your next stop is London’s Smithfield Market. A historic site that began as a meat market in the 10th century, Smithfield witnessed many brutal executions over the centuries. Wander the building and surrounding lanes as you hear about historical figures that met their end here such as Wat Tyler, leader of the Peasants' Revolt, and Scottish patriot William Wallace. Visit Wallace’s memorial and learn about how grave robbing became a popular money-making scheme in the 19th century.

As night falls, arrive at London’s East End, where Jack the Ripper stalked his victims more than 125 years ago. Pass locations where the Ripper’s five victims were found by horrified Londoners. Disembark to follow the murder trail, and discuss theories and suspects that have come and gone, leaving the Jack the Ripper story a great unsolved mystery.

Your tour concludes with a visit to the Sherlock Holmes Pub near Trafalgar Square. Explore Holmes memorabilia and warm yourself with a drink and some crispy English fish and chips (own expense).

Very Poor not what was expected.

First of all, we were Very unhappy with the late cancellation of pre booked arrangement for Jack the Ripper London Most Haunted tour due to “not enough people booked” on Halloween??? Really??? A week previous!. Rang Viator, was Offered this as a similar. Almost missed the tour as given 2 different locations to meet at. I have the emails and photos stored for evidence as to the two locations. Good job we gave a little extra time getting around the area. We Rang the helpline 2/3 times which recived no answer. Answerphone message. Was amased that there were children on the tour which stopped the guide from using particular real words in line with the facts. And making it more of a reality tour. It Made it all less factual. It Was no where near a scarey expected tour as sold to us and explained on the website. It Gave a comical impression during the tour and spoilt the whole scenario walking around. Afterall its about the murder of prostitutes and who it was theme. The Guide was a very pleasant, chatty, polite guy, doing his job, but used a Kindle to explain everything and this didnt feel professional whilst walking around. Out of all tours We have experienced in London and other citys this has to be the worse value for money. £34 x 2. We Wont be advising this tour to our friends and family for the future.

Enjoyed the tour of London but was a little disappointed as it said Sherlock Holmes tour which seemed to mean getting dropped off At him famous pub, Didn’t hear anything else said about him, Think the price was a little expensive for the actual tour probably won’t recommend that tour to people
Informative memorable interesting

The host was full of character and very enjoyable to listen to. But diplomatic and considerate of children present.
Great Tour

Great informative tour with Alan who was brilliant, very funny and very knowledgeable! Would definitely recommend this tour.
Poor tour, not as advertised.
, Oct 2021
The driver was good, the guide knowledgeable, however, he didn’t give any background story on Jack the Ripper, ie back in the 1880’s gruesome murders took place, the children knew nothing of J the R, and there was nothing on the tour about Sherlock Holmes at all!! Nothing about any where being haunted. We did learn where to eat & what were the best pubs though… so disappointing. Other tours had dressed up tour guides & sounded much more inter-active. Sadly too all the places really now were built over & redesigned, so no real feeling of the past.

Magnus, the guide, is very knowledgeable, polite and interesting.. Magnus really helps understanding the facts from the 'fake news'. I recommend the visit!
