This Grand Canyon experience begins with a Las Vegas hotel pickup en route to Henderson Executive Airport just south of the city.

After boarding your helicopter, the scenic flight passes over sites like Hoover Dam, a modern marvel of engineering; the aqua waters and sandstone shorelines of Lake Mead and Fortification Hill, an extinct volcano before soaring along the winding path of the mighty Colorado River, into the incredible landscape of the Grand Canyon, one of the seven natural wonders of the world.

Upon landing at the Grand Canyon’s West Rim, enjoy hours exploring the various overlooks and highlights in the area. Visit Eagle Point, home of the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a glass walkway nearly 4,000 feet above the floor of the canyon. Upgrade for a ticket to experience the breathtaking view from this unique vantage point.

Then at Guano Point, see the Grand Canyon up close from the top of an old Guano Mine. Hike the side trail to the mine or go up and over the rocky hill to see the incredible view from what feels like the top of the world. Also, visit the Hualapai Ranch to go horseback riding (for an additional fee) or enjoy a variety of cowboy entertainment activities, like wagon rides, roping demonstrations and more.

As an added option, take a helicopter flight to a bluff in the Grand Canyon overlooking the mighty Colorado River. Get an up-close look at the many layers of the interior of the canyon and gain an even greater appreciation of the immensity of this natural wonder.

On the return trip, enjoy more of the sights and sounds from the sky before a final hotel drop-off.

There is a maximum capacity of seven people per helicopter, plus the pilot.

Please note: Per FAA regulations, all passengers 18 years of age and older must present a photo ID such as a driver's license or passport at the time of check-in.

The landscape is breathtaking. The ride in the helicopter was great. We descendent to the bottom of the canyon and it was a unique experience. After we went to the Skywalk and I wish we had more time to enjoy the rest of the things the Indian Reserve has to offer, that is why I am only giving 4 stars. Everything was really, really great.

Very disappointing that i had to sit very very close to a total stranger in this pandemic. At the very least they could have taken over one family at a time for safety sake. I would have thought that safety was more important than profits.

Book directly with Maverick Helicopters

We paid for the 7 hour tour with the option to include the skywalk and The helicopter to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. When we checked in at Maverick the only trip They had was the 4 hour trip with only the skywalk option. Unfortunately, because we booked with Viator the staff at Maverick could not help us clear it up. We spent $429 and could have gotten the 4 hour trip for $298. Very disappointed in the Viator booking. The Maverick staff and helicopter ride was outstanding! Only wished we would have gotten what we paid for.

Best Way To Go

We flew to and from Las Vegas to the canyon for about a 45 min flight each way. Driving by bus/van/car would have taken between seven to eight hours total. Spent two hours visiting three different vantage points skipping the Indian village. They utilize many buses for this on/off tour of vantage points so the waiting time for buses is five minutes or less. Then we went down into the canyon via helicopter for about a half-hour visit. The flight is awe inspiring! Breathtaking! This tour is a bit expensive but it is surly an efficient use of time. Both of us enjoyed it immensely.

Great tour operator but better deals available direct

I've usually booked through Viator for my trips but will now look further afield in the future. This tour was advertised as Mustang Helicopters which I knew was part of the Maverick chain. These (IMO) are one of, if not the best help tour operators in Vegas. My only issue is that previously I have booked without the Skywalk option because its just a money grabbing tourist trap and is pointless and is just as expensive as it is pointless. Looking through the website it seemed as through this was the only tour available with a west rim landing so eventually we booked at an inflated cost. Even though this "viator exclusive" states "skywalk upgrade" we were never offered without this option. There was no "option" and the increased price was only available with skywalk already included. During the tour it became apparent that others had booked the tour that we wanted (without the skywalk). Some had booked through Viator from a different country and some had booked direct. From now on I will booking direct with tour operators if possible

Great Experience

Excellent way to visit the Grand Canyon. Driving would have taken 3 or 3 1/2 hours each way. This took about 45 minutes. Big time saver! There are multiple viewpoints that you can see. We did the first which included the Skywalk (which was pretty cool). Lunch was included and was good. It is pricey but overall, you save time. If driving, you might want to stay overnight as it is tough driving 6 to 7 hours for the day. The view from the helicopter was amazing.
