The best way to see Yellowstone

Dave our guide was wonderful and pointed out all the special places and stayed longer at sites if we asked. It was only 5 of us because of the darn Covid rules but it did make it more intimate for the group to get to know each other. It was a 10 hour day and we could have never seen or know about things and areas without this trip. It is the BEST way to see and learn about Yellowstone. After your the trip you can always come back and see things and then you will also know where to go etc. A nice box lunch was provided and there were adequate bathroom breaks along the way.

Lower Yellowstone and Teton Mountain tour

Gregg Eich led us on a fantastic tour of the Teton Mountains and Lower Yellowstone National Park. His description of the formation of the Teton Mountains from a geological perspective and all of Lower Yellowstone from an Environmental Science perspective gave all of us a unique perspective of the region. He was able to take his background as an environmental scientist and explain all of the nuances of the plant and animal ecosystems, how each part played a role in the natural beauty of the area and how even the smallest of changes could significantly impact the ability of the land to support the indigenous wildlife and plant life that make Yellowstone what it is today. He was also thoroughly versed in the geo-thermal aspects of the park, including how geysers were formed, what kind of thermal forces were in action to create the geo thermal formations like Old Faithful. Not only was his knowledge impeccable, his ability to explain all of it to laymen like us (including an 11 year old girl) was on point. We all understood what he was describing and how it all worked together. We also had impeccable timing, getting to our first stop at Old Faithful within minutes of an eruption which allowed us to take some side trips that further enhanced the experience. Lunch was provided and we were able to eat on the bank of the Madison River, looking up at a fantastic rock formation. All in all it was an incredible experience that everyone enjoyed to the fullest. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip and guide.

Best Tour with the Best Guide!

This was one of the most insightful, educational and enjoyable tours I have ever been on- and the best way to spend an entire day in the park. Greg is so knowledgable and this is not just a job for him but a passion. He knows so much about the history of the park, bringing in his own stories from growing up in the park (jumping off rocks and fly fishing down into the canons) as well as the ecological facts and comings of the history of Yellowstone. He brought us to all the wonderful wonders in the park, knowing exactly where to go to avoid crowds and lines, brought us to a wonderful spot on the river in the depths of the canon for lunch, and spontaneously pulled over a couple times for beautiful view and animal sightings. Greg's passion shines through his work and you can tell he does what he does for the love of nature and the park, as he was just as nature shocked by some of the wildlife and Gysers that rarely occur, as we were even though he does this all the time! Highly highly recommend this tour and an enormous THANK YOU to Greg for putting your heart into what you do!
