This was our first time visiting Old Mill Canoe. Our 16 year old daughter wanted to go kayaking, so we did a little research and decided to give Old Mill a shot. We were not disappointed. Everything ran very smoothly. We made our reservations online and also printed out our waivers and had those ready to present upon arrival. The staff were all very friendly and gave us perfect instructions on what to do/see/etc. The river itself was very relaxing a few area with small "rapids" - more like ripples. I actually had to get out of the canoe once or twice to push over some shallow, rocky sections - but no problems. We saw a ton of birds and turtles and even a water snake - which I believe is a non-venomous Northern Watersnake. I'm sure we will return to tackle this trip again in the future. We highly recommend.
