Disappointed

My friends and I wanted to have a white water rafting adventure. We selected the upper Colorado rafting based in the description we were going to be facing category 3 and 4 rapids. The tour group that took was us was Lawson adventure. When we arrived to the location where our rafting was going to take place we were greeted with a smile and two tour guides or our large group. Everything appeared to be in order. As we made our way into the water and started to raft it was apparent we were not going to do much paddling. It seemed we just coasted down the current for a leisure ride. We all were very disappointed. As the 3 hrs ended we made our way to the end when we where informed the van that took us to the location broke down and they were going to get another van to pick us up. Mind you, we were about 1.5 hrs away from the office where we boarded the transport van. The tour guides keep us entertained as best as they could. This wasn’t there fault. The weather had changed and it started to rain heavily along with some small hail. We took shelter towards the restroom and waited and waited to the second van to get us. After an hour or more one of the tour guides was able to get the original van started so we can leave. After looking into other reviewers from Lawson adventures this wasn’t the first time van issues came up. Staff reported to us they been having these issues on and off. Overall we all left very disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend this rafting company at all.

Hi Derya, no where in our description for Upper Colorado Rafting does it mention Class IV and V rapids. Even for whitewater rafting that's typically called Intermediate-Advanced Rafting. It also shows that the Upper Colorado is located 1 hour and 30 minutes from our adventure park/start point. We always advise guests to do their due diligence when it comes to booking activities. Had you informed us you were interested in Int/Adv whitewater rafting we could have switched your trip.
