This tour was quite good although we felt quite rushed. It was an extremely hot day so really didnt feel like hanging around too long but our guide kept us moving and only had about 5-10 minutes to explore and take photos at each place before moving on. There was a traditional dance performance in the hall which was nice to see before heading off. We did stop at a fish market on the way which wasn't expected, good to see even though most of the fish had been sold earlier. There were 12 people on our tour but when we got back to Hoi An for lunch they split us into two groups. 6 went on one boat for rice and 6 on the other for noodles. We had lovely lunch of 3 entrees to share and rice with fish. The others on the noodle boat said that their food was not good!. I dont know why they split us up as the boat could easily have accommodated all 12 of us? And we were not give us a choice of rice or noodles they just told us who was getting what. Might have depended on who you booked the tour with? I would try another tour of My Son as it is still worth seeing.

A bit of a long ride from HoiAn, but the bus was confortable and the passing countryside interesting. A good deal of formality to get to the ruins gift shop, traditional dance performance, electric transport to the ruins. As is obvious very similar to Ankor Wat tho VERY much smaller. We were able to tour the several remaining structures in 2 hours. Much attention was made to the B52 bombings of the site in the 60's I was draftable during those years so aware and not put off by the comments tho it was repeated several times during the tour which was a bit upsetting they were terrible times on both sides. The boat back to HoiAn from the site was relaxing and enjoyable about an hour on the boat after 30 minutes on the bus to get to the boat launch. Lunch and drinks on the launch and interesting scenery on the way back. An enjoyable day out tho if you've been to Ankor Wat it will be a bit disappointing.
