Monday - Sunday:08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
Meet your guide at the arrivals hall at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, and settle inside your private, air-conditioned vehicle for your visa-free city sightseeing tour.

Tell your guide if there’s anything you want to see more or less of. As your tour is private, the itinerary can be tailored around your interests and available time, up to a maximum of eight hours.

Once you’re ready, set off to see some or all of the recommended attractions. Perhaps head through Guangzhou’s Old Town to visit the Chen Clan Academy (own expense), a 19th-century complex of intricately carved halls and courtyards where students prepared for exams to qualify for China’s Qing dynasty civil service.

Admire the colorful roof sculptures and decorative facades that exemplify traditional Cantonese architecture, and see the stunning collections of local folk art on display.

Next, maybe visit the Museum of the Mausoleum of the Nanyue King (own expense), built at the 2,000-year-old tomb site of the king Zhao Mo. View the relics found in the ancient tomb, including imperial seals, funerary treasures, and the king’s jade burial suit.

If you wish, stroll around Qingping Market, a slice of old-world China spread under Guangzhou’s high-rises. Absorb the color and clamor of the stalls and nearby shops, perusing wares such as spices, dried flowers, exotic foods, jade and Chinese medicines.

You may also fancy some modern-day shopping at Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, a pedestrianised road crowded with boutiques, restaurants, and malls. Browse some of the countless stores, and perhaps buy souvenirs and other goodies.

If you wish, ask your guide to recommend local restaurants, and take a break from sightseeing over lunch (own expense).

Later, your layover tour finishes with a drop-off at the airport in time for your outbound flight.
