Pass by Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument, and Linlithgow Palace—the birthplace of Mary Queen of Scots—en route to Glencoe, a Highland glen filled with eerie tales about the Clan MacDonald massacre of 1692.

Journey onward through the 18th-century Fort William, and gaze out at the Scottish Highlands, including the Great Glen. Reaching Fort Augustus, disembark on the shores of Loch Ness, where you can opt for a seasonal boat ride on the loch and listen for the Loch Ness Monster ‘Nessie’ on the sonar system. (Cruises run from Easter to the end of October.)

After you purchase lunch (own expense), continue your drive to Cairngorms National Park via Spean Bridge village. Take in the views of Loch Laggan and the windswept mountains, including Craig Meagaidh, where the TV series 'Monarch of the Glen' was filmed.

Adventure in the Highlands

Very good experience on this tour to Loch Ness, Glencoe & the Highlands for a first trip in Scotland! Our guide Barbara was very friendly and knowledgeable, I liked all the historical details shared as well as the Loch Ness monster theories. I highly recommend to upgrade the tour by adding the Loch Ness cruise directly with the operator as the scenery is beautiful and the lake very mysterious. to miss it. Final tip would be wearing comfy shoes and a warm coat as the forecast can change quickly, and especially on the boat as it can be windy. COVID-19 measures are well respected so you can book this tour without any concerns. Would do again!

Our guide Jim.B was fantastic! We stopped at all the places listed in the tour and a few extra places thanks to our guide. It’s a long day trip because covers a large area of the country but has great views. Might be good to spend a little bit more time in Pitlochry though that’ll probably affect timings/late return. The trip also had various coronavirus safety measures which was reassuring

A memorable trip after a long lockdown

The tour was amazing! I had Stephen as the guide and he was brilliant. I loved every bit of information he gave. Made it so exciting and fun, including the music. It wasn't just visiting the places, he talked about the culture and even told me were I could get good food, immerse myself in the culture. The tour was completely worth every penny. The journey was very comfortable. Always maintained social distancing. The vehicle was clean and had good leg space. Thank you so much for making this trip so memorable.
