This activity will end right where it started.
Your full-day excursion sets off from Edinburgh in the morning. Meet your guide in the city center and take a comfortable seat in a top of the range, 16-seat Mercedes mini-coach. Enjoy morning views of the city as you cross the Forth Road Bridge, one of the world's longest cantilever bridges.

Cruise through the Lowlands into the Highlands, where farmland gives way to mountains and thick forests, the setting for many historic tales such as ‘Birnam Wood’ in Macbeth. Your first stop is the Hermitage, a natural wonderland, for a stroll through fir-lined paths along the River Braan.

After your nature walk, climb back in the coach for a drive through the River Tay valley. Admire the winding river—the longest in Scotland—as you make your way to the charming town of Pitlochry. Here, enjoy free time to explore this popular vacation destination. Admire the architecture as you stroll past small shops and eateries, then grab lunch (own expense), and pop into a local whisky distillery.

Next, enjoy tasting the 'water of life' at Dewar's Aberfeldy Distillery (or Glenturret Distillery if Dewar's is closed). The day finishes with a visit to Dunkeld Cathedral and the scenic areas of Dunkeld, Perth, and Kinross. After a day of sightseeing, relax for the ride back to Edinburgh, arriving at Waterloo Place in the evening.

Excellent service

We had our tour on the 27th with Mr Mclaud and he is an excellent tour guid, a historian, a very good singer, keeping as informed and on track always. He also points out the best scenic route to take pictures. And I definitely enjoy the walk down the forest, the river and seeing the waterfall. Best whiskey as well! Excellent service I might say.

Perfect honeymoon trip.

We were on our honeymoon staying in Edinburgh and wanted to travel out of City to experience the beautiful Scottish countryside. Our day trip was exactly what we hoped for and more. Andy our driver was very informative and his dry sense of humour made his commentary funny too. Great stops along the way with Whisky tasting at end of day great way to end a perfect day. Would highly recommend. Meg and Paul Argyle

Perfect day trip

This was a perfect day trip to the Highlands to get a taste of the sights, learn some history, and taste the tasties that this region of Scotland has to offer! The addition of the Dewars tour and whiskey tasting was a good choice even if you're not a whiskey drinker (it was optional). Our host Bruce has 14 years on the job and offered loads of his knowledge and humor, and was patient and adaptive to the guests. Bonus, the weather was gorgeous and warm!
